I’ve always been interested in health on some level, probably influenced by my grandmother who was always researching alternative medicine and making recommendations whenever we caught a bug or needed a boost. For my 6th grade science fair project I created a medicinal lollipop using natural herbs and honey, things my grandmother would often recommend for us when we had a cold. It seems to make sense that I would end up going to medical school to become a naturopathic doctor. During medical school, I struggled a bit with skin issues like acne as well as eczema. I remember feeling so frustrated because all the external treatments I used would help temporarily but the skin issues kept coming back. This led me to use the resources at my disposal to come up with internal, preventative solutions to those issues. Although my private practice in Brentwood started as a general practice, it naturally unfolded to focus on skin issues from an internal, root cause approach. Since then, I have continued to fine-tune my treatments and have developed a very successful protocol to help my patients address skin conditions in a holistic way that is kind and gentle to their bodies. In fact, I am in the process of developing a supplement line that should help most people suffering from these conditions.
