“I am the one thing in life I can control”~ Lin Manuel Miranda from Hamilton Soundtrack I spent a lot of time stressing out and worrying about things I had no control over. Not only is it a waste of time, but it’s exhausting. When I saw Hamilton and heard this song and that line, it clicked for me. I can make changes and guide my life where I want it to go. My favorite affirmation is to “Trust the process.” I like this because as a creative there are a lot of different stages. For example, when editing a video, some of the different stages include making selects of the raw clips, cutting to a soundtrack or a storyline, and coloring.
