We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Buenrostro and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laura, what is the most important factor behind your success?
One of the most important factors that has impacted my career is, I have had peers with many years of experience in my industry that have taken the time to teach and guide me through this artist industry. I’ve taken every lesson that has been taught to me and apply it to my career. It has helped me grow in my business and my brand.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I love most about my career is learning new things, techniques and styles that help my brand grow. My absolute favorite thing to do is collaborate with new stylist in my industry. I try to absorb how they work, their talents and take as many mental notes as I possibly can and try to implement them to my work. I get so excited to learn new things but I struggle with the frustration when it doesn’t come out correctly but what I have always been so blessed with is always having the support of artist around me to guide me through the lesson. I strongly believe that’s why I have been able to become successful in my career.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
