We had the good fortune of connecting with Abraham and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Abraham, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Honestly, my thought process came down to a mix of frustration and vision. I’d been in fitness for over 20 years, and I saw how much time people wasted in gyms without getting the results they wanted. At the same time, I had learned about EMS training and realized how powerful it could be, especially for busy professionals who don’t have an hour to kill in the gym.

So, the first thought was: how do I solve a real problem? That problem was time. My ideal clients, entrepreneurs, CEOs, busy parents, don’t have time, but they want results. Wireless EMS gave me a way to deliver efficiency and performance in 20 minutes. That was the spark.

The second thought was independence. I’ve worked under big brands before, like Zumba, and while that gave me experience and recognition, I didn’t want to be tied down to someone else’s system forever. Starting ElektroBody meant I could build something of my own, with my own twist, and actually innovate instead of just following.

The last piece was personal. I came to the U.S. without speaking English, had to rebuild from scratch, and I didn’t know anybody. Starting my own business was about proving to myself and to my family that I could create opportunity where there was none. It wasn’t just about training, it was about legacy and freedom.

That’s really how I thought about it: find a problem worth solving, create something unique, and make it personal so I don’t quit when it gets hard.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
ElektroBody is all about efficiency and freedom. I use wireless EMS suits so my clients don’t need to step into a studio or waste an hour at the gym. In just 20 minutes, they get a workout that delivers real results.

It wasn’t easy to get here. I came to the U.S. without speaking English and had to rebuild from zero. At first, people didn’t believe a 20-minute workout was enough, but I stayed consistent, educated my clients, and let the results speak for themselves.

What I’ve learned is simple: don’t give away your work for free, focus on consistency, and build strong relationships. ElektroBody is more than just EMS. It’s a smarter way to train, save time, and feel strong. My story proves that with vision and persistence, you can create something unique that helps people live better.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend came to LA for a week, I’d make sure they got the full experience. We’d start at the beach with Venice and Santa Monica for the energy and people-watching, then head to Malibu for a workout and a sunset drive along the PCH. A hike at Griffith Park for the Hollywood sign views would be a must, and of course we’d walk the Hollywood Walk of Fame and check out the stars.

Downtown would also be on the list with Grand Central Market, The Broad, and a rooftop dinner overlooking the skyline. For food, we’d go from local Mexican spots in Santa Clarita to Malibu Farm on the water, Koreatown for late-night eats, and an iconic LA steakhouse. Silver Lake coffee shops and The Grove for shopping would round it out.

That’s the LA experience I’d want them to see. Beaches, culture, iconic sights, and food that makes the trip unforgettable.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout starts with my family. Krista and the kids are the reason I push as hard as I do. They’ve been patient with me through the risks and long hours, and they give me the purpose behind everything I build.

I also give credit to my mentors and friends in the fitness industry. Back in my Zumba days, I learned how to teach, lead, and connect with people on a bigger level. That foundation gave me the confidence to create my own path later.

And I have to mention the books and ideas that shaped my mindset. Atomic Habits taught me the power of small, consistent actions, and $100M Offers reminded me to focus on creating real value.

I didn’t get here alone. My success is the result of love, mentorship, and inspiration from my family, my fitness community, and the lessons I’ve picked up along the way.
