Hi Alaine, how does your business help the community?
We think of Safe Haven Solutions as the premier solutions provider for Digital Transformation, helping businesses navigate the disruption of our world during this pandemic. With Covid-19 still looming over our community, the world, and the Internet, collaboration tools and security measures are more critical than ever to helping our global economy. The world’s most valuable resource is no longer oil, but data. Hackers and terrorist organizations are capitalizing on the lack of security in many businesses and institutions. Additionally, natural disasters are crippling businesses that do not have backups or comprehensive recovery plans in place. The Internet of Things (IoT), including self-driving cars and self-regulating homes, is part of our new world and no longer an idea just in the future. And the list goes on…! At Safe Haven Solutions, we are technology-trusted advisers who bring knowledge of where the Digital Transformation world is headed, and which companies are best to help lead that change. As a procurement resource provider amid a sea of “tech giants”, we align, manage and support our customers through strategic partnerships, while building trust at every step of the process. Our team is in the field each day educating, but also learning and growing alongside our clients. We strive to ensure the utmost integrity, availability and confidence in our clients’ organizations. We feel that with each happy and successful engagement, we are making the community a safer, more reliable, and stronger world than ever before. What should our readers know about your business? What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
15 years into starting Safe Haven and in the wake of Covid-19, we have had to step up even more now than ever as technology has been one of our saving graces. Today we service a multitude of clients across the globe as their technology-trusted advisers. The theme then was “Finding Comfort in Communications”, and we are still providing that with the right technology partners, empowering teams for greater productivity, and saving millions of dollars for our customers. Safe Haven has championed innovative technology, but even more importantly, we live and breathe our core value of client support, and help our clients have a Safe Haven. We are continuing to evolve, to be our clients’ biggest advocate and be the “Go-To” partner for Cloud services, Network and Security solutions. Outside of work, I live for my family sharing adventures, creating memories and growing and learning together! I am an avid skier, a mediocre but determined golfer and love to travel the world and explore different cultures. I am definitely an extrovert and can be very (maybe too!) candid, spontaneous, love a good belly laugh, will never miss a good party, but also appreciate tenderness and practice compassion and gratitude daily.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Born and raised a New Yorker, I have long asked myself this question! One thing that is special about California is its coastline. Stay off the congested freeways and drive on the Pacific Coast Highway, or take a coastal train ride on the Pacific Sunliner and spend a few days in LA and Orange County, then down to San Diego – all such different vibes with great small towns along the way including San Luis Obispo, San Juan Capistrano and Solana Beach. Rent a Duffy boat in Newport Beach, visit a winery in Paso Robles or Temecula, see a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, cruise around and enjoy the view at the Griffith Observatory … and the list goes on!! If that sounds too hectic, sit back, relax and just enjoy the California sunshine and beaches!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There is no way I would be able to have the success that Safe Haven has seen over the last 15 years, without the love and support from my husband. From day one, he has continuously pushed me to be better in all areas of my life. When I had a vision for the business, he encouraged me without hesitation to go for it. After quitting my former career position, he not only backed us financially but pushed me forward during those challenging times. He has always been my biggest cheerleader, and to this day is always right by my side, as I am by his.
