Hi Alejandra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The decision to start my own business was driven by a deep desire for greater flexibility and autonomy in both my personal and professional life. As a mother of three boys, I wanted the opportunity to be present for my family while also pursuing my professional ambitions. Once I saw the opportunity, I envisioned a business where I could set my own schedule, allowing me to create a healthy connection between my family responsibilities and my entrepreneurial goals. The ability to work on my own terms not only provided the freedom to spend meaningful time with my children but also empowered me to generate income without compromising my values or personal commitments. This vision of professional and personal harmony became the foundation of my business journey, enabling me to create a path that aligns with both my aspirations and my family life.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I take great pride in the opportunity to give back to my community through the services I provide. My journey of helping others began with my role as a Spanish Interpreter, where I worked to bridge the English-Spanish language barrier for several years. This experience fueled my desire to make a meaningful impact, leading me to pursue a business in Financial Literacy and Life Insurance.

Through this transition, I discovered a unique opportunity to serve my community by offering Free Financial Education. My work now includes conducting comprehensive financial analyses and helping individuals and families secure the protection they need through Life Insurance. I am deeply passionate about addressing the significant gap in financial literacy, as many individuals lack the knowledge to make informed decisions about their financial future. By providing these vital resources and tools, I continue to help my community thrive, empowering them to take control of their financial well-being while ensuring the protection of their loved ones.

The journey to where I am today has been long and filled with challenges, but I am confident that this is only the beginning. It has not been an easy path, as it requires sacrifices that are often difficult for others to understand. Those with an employee mindset may not fully grasp the long hours and hard work involved when you’re building something of your own. However, I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason, and every obstacle I have encountered along the way has been a lesson preparing me for something greater. I trust that each challenge has been an integral part of my growth and the realization of my larger purpose.

One of the most important lessons I continue to learn is that nobody is going to come and save you or do the work for you. When you have a goal or a dream, it is up to you to pursue it relentlessly, regardless of the challenges or opposition you may face. I’ve also learned the importance of dreaming big and not allowing fear to hold me back. In this journey, it has become clear that success is not a product of luck—it’s the result of hard work, perseverance, and sacrifice. While some may not understand or recognize the effort that goes into building a business or supporting a family, I remain focused on my vision and the sacrifices necessary to achieve it. It’s essential to ignore the negativity and close-mindedness of others and stay true to the path that I know will lead to greater success and fulfillment.

I want people to understand that you are the one who sets your own limits. Every day, I have the privilege of helping families plan for the unexpected, ensuring they have the right protection in place. However, there are countless other ways we can actively plan for our financial independence, and a traditional job is often not the most effective path to achieving that.

I am always seeking individuals who are eager to join me on this incredible journey—one that not only allows us to provide families with the right protection, but also offers the opportunity to help them secure their financial futures. With the support of my colleagues, we guide our clients in making the right investments for long-term success, while I continue my own journey to becoming a certified financial advisor.

By helping families build a secure financial future, we are able to create a business model where we have control over our time and income, allowing us to earn on our own terms. This journey is not only rewarding financially, but it also empowers us to take charge of our own lives while making a meaningful impact on others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Los Angeles, the most iconic city, offers a wealth of must-see attractions that embody its vibrant culture and natural beauty. A visit to Hollywood is a must, where we can stroll down the Walk of Fame and explore the famous museums lining the street. For breathtaking views, a hike up to Griffith Park and the Observatory offers a panoramic perspective of the city.

One of my personal favorites is the LA Zoo. In Long Beach, the Aquarium of the Pacific is another incredible destination that showcases marine life in all its beauty. For a more serene experience, I highly recommend visiting Mt. Baldy, where you can enjoy the tranquility of nature, explore numerous hiking trails, and admire the stunning waterfalls.

If we venture in the opposite direction, we can visit Crystal Cove, a charming local gem in Newport Beach. Finally, no trip to Los Angeles would be complete without a visit to the Santa Monica Pier and Promenade, where we can enjoy the lively atmosphere and end the day with an unforgettable dining experience at Opaque, a unique “dining in the dark” restaurant. It’s an experience that will truly leave a lasting impression.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In 10th grade, I had the privilege of being inspired by a teacher at Montebello High School, Armando Sanchez, who made it his mission to motivate students to reach for greatness. I vividly remember his lessons on the importance of a strong support system in achieving success. He emphasized that while college and a meaningful career were important, it was just as crucial to recognize that we cannot succeed alone. He taught us the value of kindness, respect, and gratitude for the people who support our dreams and ambitions. One of his memorable quotes was, “Be nice on your way up, because if you ever fall back, they’ll be there to catch you.”

That lesson stayed with me and became a guiding principle in my life. It sparked my determination to pursue higher education and embrace new opportunities. Ultimately, this mindset led me to an incredible company that empowers me to be my own boss while being surrounded by mentors and like-minded individuals who inspire me to dream big.

I am especially grateful for the unwavering support of my husband, Asis Chalé, who encouraged me to start my journey as a part-time opportunity, which eventually grew into a full-time business. Along the way, I have been fortunate to be mentored by incredible individuals such as Genaro and Donna Martinez, Susana Lacey (RIP), and Ignacio Zamora, who have continuously challenged me to aim higher and pursue even bigger goals. Their guidance and belief in my potential have been instrumental in my growth and success.
