Meet Alex Castaneda | Meet Alex Castaneda of Casa Casttaneda Real Estate | Bridging Community, Culture & Hollywood Entertainment

We had the good fortune of connecting with Alex Castaneda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Alex, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I launched Casa Casttaneda with my brother Humberto, we knew we didn’t just want to start another real estate business we wanted to build a brand that truly reflected who we are and how we serve. For us, real estate isn’t just about closing deals it’s about guiding and helping people through one of the most important decisions of their lives.
Our strategy was built upon a clear foundation authenticity, family values, and community engagement. We deliberately designed Casa Casttaneda to be a personal, trustworthy brand, rejecting the purely transactional nature of traditional real estate. We recognize that every client journey is unique whether it’s the excitement of buying a first home, the necessity of upsizing for a growing family, or the foresight of investing for long term wealth. Our brand is specifically structured to meet each of these critical life milestones with genuine care and expert guidance
Launching it together as brothers gave us a stronger foundation. We share the same values of integrity, transparency, and hard work, and that family dynamic shows up in how we treat our clients. People can feel when you’re genuine, and that’s what makes Casa Casttaneda stand out.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The foundation of Casa Casttaneda is unapologetic integrity, an unbreakable family bond, and true community leverage. We reject the purely transactional. We don’t just process paperwork we curate life’s most important moves. Whether it’s securing a trophy property for investment, facilitating a high level lease, handling the discreet sale of a private residence, or finding that forever family sanctuary we operate with precision and unparalleled dedication.
What gives us an undeniable edge is our deep connection to the Entertainment industry. My Bachelor’s in Entertainment Media Management isn’t just on the wall it’s woven into our strategy. We are the trusted real estate partners for the entertainment world because we don’t just sell square footage we sell security and silence. We know that for many of our clients, discretion isn’t optional it’s non negotiable. At Casa Casttaneda, we have built an entire system around protecting your privacy and profile.
What we want the world to know? We are more than real estate we are curators of lifestyle and guardians of privacy. Casa Casttaneda is where trust meets trendsetting the only place you should be building your empire.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
This trip is all about showing my best friend the real LA the mix of iconic glamour, diverse culture, and incredible street food, avoiding the typical tourist traps where possible. We’d start on the coast, riding bikes from the quintessential Santa Monica Pier down to the vibrant, eccentric Venice Boardwalk, followed by a quick tour of the serene Venice Canals. The food theme would be high-low: we’d grab a mandatory In-N-Out burger one day and the famous Al Pastor taco from Leo’s Tacos Truck on another. For Hollywood, it’s about the view a morning hike to the Hollywood Sign and an evening at the Griffith Observatory for the best city panorama. We’d dive into DTLA for art at The Broad and the culinary chaos of the Grand Central Market, before settling into the relaxed, artsy vibe of Echo Park for cocktails at a local gem like Thunderbolt. The ultimate escape involves a drive up the PCH to Malibu for fresh fish at Malibu Seafood. We’d dedicate an evening for a stylish, modern American dinner at The Mulholland in Calabasas it has a great “getaway” vibe with seasonal dishes and a wine list curated by a family that owns their own vineyard. The most exciting part of LA to me, is the dynamic cultural life from the historic old school Hollywood feel of Musso & Frank Grill to the discovery of the city’s hidden global cuisine. We’d finish the week with pure Hollywood magic at Universal Studios, capping off the week with a ridiculously messy, classic dog from Pink’s Hot Dogs.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without the support of my family. My dad, especially, has been a huge influence on me. He owned real estate and ran his own business, and watching the way he worked with so much integrity shaped how I see success. I’ve always wanted to continue in his footsteps and create something special that carries forward those same values of hard work, honesty, and community. I also have to give credit to the mentors and colleagues I’ve met along the way, who encouraged me and shared their knowledge as I was building my business. And of course, a big shoutout goes to the clients and community who put their trust in me they’re the reason Casa Casttaneda exists, and their support motivates me every single day.
