We had the good fortune of connecting with Alie Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alie, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I believe risk-taking is what has allowed me to be successful so far. I am comfortable being uncomfortable temporarily for a greater goal. I’ve picked up and moved across the country, and to other counties at the drop of a dime. I have no regrets for my risk taking decisions

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am a full-time modeling commercial actress, I dabble in theatrical acting, and would like to continue to expand in that area. But right now I’m just enjoying it mostly as a hobby. I’m really proud of where I’ve gotten in terms of the relationships that I have with my clients.. I’m grateful to have clients that follow me from every city that I’ve moved to and from and every agency that I’ve worked with. I think the most fulfilling thing about my job is helping someone bring their dream to life, and I am very honored to be the face of each brand I get the opportunity to work with.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite thing about Southern California is the fact that you can do a staycation in so many places. If a friend were to come into town, I would probably do a road trip of sorts. We would go to Ojai for some Glamping, spend a day in Solvang, have a night in Santa Barbara, and of course could not skip the Joshua tree experience, lay out and see the stars. When it comes to eating in town, I would say my main spots would be Pizzana, Kazunori and Koi. 

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

My manager Liselotte has honestly been the main person keeping my head held high and motivated in such a difficult industry. I am beyond grateful to her expertise and empathy.
One of my close friends, Tayla Fernandez has also been such a wonderful peer in regards to learning the acting industry. I’m so grateful to actors and actresses that understand that this industry has something for all of us, and are willing to share their expertise in an area of work that we all love so much.
