We had the good fortune of connecting with Alon Mylo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alon, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
One of my favorite quotes is, ‘Imagination is the only weapon in the war against reality,’ from the movie Alice in Wonderland. What I find intriguing about this quote is the idea that our reality originated from someone’s imaginative thoughts. Without their commitment to turning it into reality, it wouldn’t be the world we know today. It’s reminiscent of evolution in a way. Success, to me, is when the ideas I envision come to fruition, surpassing the constraints of reality to forge a new one, as we are always in a state of constant change right ?

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m crafting music that’s as genre-defying as possible, leaning into the alt-pop/hip-hop realm with strong influences from electronic and rock. I’m thrilled about my upcoming debut album, which I’ve been working on for the past two years and in the final stages, the release is just around the corner This album is special to me because it’s a vivid exploration of colors and decisions, narrating my journey of feeling like an extraterrestrial in a world where I’ve never quite fit in, It’s a tale of how I landed here, not from Earth, but from someplace entirely different I believe.

As a synesthete, I experience colors through sounds, and each song in the album embodies a different hue. When you put them all together, it creates this cool cyan vibe, which is currently my favorite color. I’ve already released three singles from the album, and the fourth one is about to hit the scene.

I believe this is just the beginning for me. Getting to this point meant putting in work every night, perfecting my craft and staying up late. It wasn’t but its getting easier I think if its too easy its the wrong way I like to challenge myself Beyond that, I’m stoked to get back on stage for live shows. I’ve performed a bunch in LA, and it’s always a blast with amazing vibes. I even did some shows in Berlin where the energy is different but equally awesome. It feels like I grew up musically there—the music and vibes are just insane.

I’ve always found myself in a space that doesn’t neatly fit into any category. It’s a tough feeling, that sense of not quite belonging. If you’ve ever felt the same way ,I’m on a mission to connect with those who understand that sentiment, urging them to explore not just the music but the entire world I’m constructing—an immersive experience with artworks, vibes, stories, and a genuine sense of community.

This goes beyond just the music and lyrics—it’s about creating a place where we all feel lost but together. So, if you’ve ever felt caught in that in-between, come join me. Let’s build something significant together because, to me, it’s not just about the tunes—it’s about the atmosphere, the narrative, and the entire world I’ve fashioned.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I Love LA !

I’ve got a few favorite spots in the city. First off, Little Tokyo is a go-to. I love strolling through those small shops, especially since I’m a massive anime/manga fan. The burst of colors just relaxes me, you know? Can’t explain it, but I’m totally into it. Plus, the food there is fantastic, and the overall vibe is just unique and cool. Not too far from there, you’ve got the Arts District and The Broad Museum, where the exhibitions always hit the spot.

Then there’s Venice – the beach, the canals, Abbot Kinney – the whole scene is just my vibe. Found this sushi spot called ‘Wabi’ close by; it’s legit; one of my favorites.

For a night out, Silver Lake is my go-to. It’s like everyone there’s an artist, and you meet some seriously cool people.
also I like dance music and I feel like electronic music rising in LA especially in the downtown clubs so that’s cool too.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?

First and foremost, big shoutout to the music gods. Before diving into this scene, I was living life thinking I wasn’t good at anything, and nothing really sparked my interest enough to go all in. Music literally saved me; listening to other artists spill their struggles let me know I wasn’t alone in mine. Shoutout to icons like Kanye, Kid Cudi, Radiohead, Nirvana, and the whole punk rock vibe—those genres are my escape. Every time those beats drop, it’s like freedom; I can lose myself in the music and forget about my own problems.

Big shoutout to my older brothers, Yuval Miller and Amir Miller, holding it down as “LA Groove Machine” and “Double Figure.” These guys aren’t just producers and sound engineers; they’ve been my mentors in the whole sound and production game. When it comes to mixing my tracks, trust me, they’ve got it on lock. Forever thankful for them

Gotta give a final shoutout to the cinema—it’s been my silent teacher in the realm of music, world-building, and connecting the dots. The art of storytelling, especially in a unique way, and I owe that flair to the influence of cinema
