We had the good fortune of connecting with Aly Zepeda and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Aly, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
7 years ago I worked for a company .. a corporate company .. I went in did the same thing for years and one day I was in the parking telling myself “ Is this really what I want to do for the rest of my life??” I want to be my own boss! I’m tired of working for somebody !! That’s when I went home told my husband we need a career change and that’s how Fuego’s was invented!!!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Fuego’s taco Shack has been around for 7 years ! We are Family owned and operated! We are from Bakersfield, Ca . We are a well known Taco Truck and we give are customers the greatest customer service! We serve our community and we also are huge supporters of organizations that mean the world to us! Born and raised in LA we wanted to bring the flavors and history to Bakersfield! These recipes are from our family and we love to cook and see our customers coming back !

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Bakersfield is FULL of talent and especially in the Food Business!!! We have some of the most Amazing Cuisine and Flavors coming out of this City!!! If I were to have someone visit here I would definitely take them to some of my favorite spots ! I love local spots , it’s so hard to name them all !!! They are all my favorite

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout-out to my husband for pushing me to never settle in a job that’s not for you . Also to our parents .. for showing us never give up !
