We had the good fortune of connecting with Alyssa Zamora and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Alyssa, why did you decide to pursue a creative path?
Originally, I just wanted a creative outlet outside of my main role as an English teacher. Then, it just morphed into a way that also has become a form of healing and self-care. Now I create content to inspire others to do the same.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I would say that as a content creator, I would consider myself a “professional” as it is something I do in my spare time. However, I will say, as I am in this journey, again, I draw on the support of the cozy gaming community to help me when I am in a creative slump.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ahhh, we would grab our Nintendo Switches, our current read, and head to the beach! Probably have to stop for coffee on the way. So maybe a pit stop at Alfred’s and then drive to Malibu.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Honestly, everyone in the cozy gaming space has been extremely supportive. I love how we connect and celebrate each other through our mutual love for gaming, reading, or any other cozy hobby.
