We had the good fortune of connecting with America DeLoach and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi America, how do you think about risk?
I like taking risks, and quite frankly, I don’t often have time to think about the consequences. It gives me a thrill to take risks and anticipate how it will unfold. That feeling is much better than wondering what if. I let my intuition take over, and so far I’ve been more lucky than sorry. Obviously, as we grow, I have started to give more consideration to risk analysis when I make decisions for the company.

My name is America DeLoach, and I’m the proud owner of Salsas Don Sebastian, LLC. I make small batches of authentic Mexican salsa and dips that are sold in farmers markets and selected retail stores in the Richmond area, Ashland, Georgetown DC, Charlottesville, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, Norfolk and Virginia Beach.

I’m extremely passionate about what I do! The company and brand that I’ve created allows me to provide top quality, fresh salsas and dips to thousands of people here in Central Virginia. From the procurement of materials to the manufacturing process, and onto the delivery of the product, it all feels like a rewarding and satisfying experience.

It all started in 2017, when after years of talking about selling salsas, I decided to launch the business based on the inspiration of my husband’s family recipes which date back to the early 1900’s and originated in Nayarit, Mexico.

Our product line consists of red salsas, salsa verde, pico de gallo, savory dips and chimichurri. We hope that soon you get to enjoy one of our delicious salsas and dips. We also hope that you are extremely satisfied with our products. Thank you!
