We had the good fortune of connecting with Amira Hussein and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Amira, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I wanted to create a wellness business where people could come and take care of many of. their health and fitness needs in one place. I envisioned a space where my clients could not only relax and enjoy their treatments, but also become educated and empowered in learning how to take care of their health in a natural, holistic manner.. I know time is precious, so I enjoy offering solutions that are not only effective, but time efficient, at a reasonable price point.

What should our readers know about your business?
This business has been 20 years in the making. I struggled with chronic health issues since I was a child. So I was on a healing journey for decades. It was always my dream to help others improve their health as well, but I had no idea how. I started by helping friends and family improve their health. I then began an online health coaching practice helping people all over the world heal in a natural way (thanks to social media platforms! ). I also started writing a few health books. A few years ago, I discovered Electromagnetic Sculpting with radio frequency technology, while searching for a solution for my own stubborn weight loss (those last 5-10 lbs can be the hardest! ) I also lost so much muscle tone as a result of not being able to work out on a regular basis, because of adrenal issues .This technology worked quickly, burning fat and building muscle without side effects, so I knew this would be a great solution for so many of my clients. This was when I decided to open up my first studio and offer this service. Since then, I have added multiple services, including vibration therapy and red light therapy.

It was not an easy path. Nothing worthwhile ever is. I faced a lot of adversity throughout my life with my health, and finances, as a result of not being able to work full-time.. My return to health was not linear by any means, but it was all worth it. And I’m so grateful I have the opportunity to help people improve their quality of life on a daily basis, as a result of all that I went through. Everything truly happens for a reason!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Well I know she loves nature, and especially the beach, so I would take her there for sure. I know a few secret spots! I would also take her around my beloved Pasadena, to Huntington Library and Gardens, followed by sushi at Sushi Enya (my personal favorite.). She also enjoys plant based cuisine, so I would definitely take her to Pura Vita and Crossroads in West Hollywood and Sage brunch in Pasadena. Taco Tuesday at Tocaya. Descanso Gardens in La Cañada for a nice day walk. Then check out a movie at Ipic, walk around old town, then grab dinner at True Food. And for the BEST dairy free soft serve, Yogaurt in Glendale. Yes, we love to eat!!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I definitely want to thank my family their constant love and support of my dreams, whether it was music, acting, writing or starting my new wellness business. I also want to send a special shoutout to my friend Kenny Hudson, who has truly been there for me through the hardest times in my life.
