We had the good fortune of connecting with Ana Cruz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ana, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My process of starting my own business wasn’t really easy. I just started that song an hour ago. I started as a self-taught make up artist posting my own work on my social media and then I wanted to learn more about makeup so I started going to school to be more artistic creative with the models that I would get from school And I had a lot of fun showing my artistic ways to my teachers, and I got my certificate to be certified as a make up artist

What should our readers know about your business?
How did I get to where I started? Wasn’t really easy to be honest I’ve been posting my work on Instagram are really gaining a lot of recognition so I started posting more on TikTok so I started gaining a little more recognition which I’m thankful for.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Me and my best friend has always wanted to go to Tokyo Japan. Honestly, I’ve never been there to be honest, but we both have been talking about wanting to go there as a vacation for both of us so I would definitely love to go to places there with her and hang out to cafés here and there in Japan And just get to know more about their culture as well

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
What I will say that deserves a shout out would be Michael Vincent Academy. They helped me to achieve where I want to be as a make up artist so I am getting clients here and there posting my work on social media so I will dedicate my progress to them Mostly my instructor Yasmin she’s an amazing teacher. I learned a lot from her little techniques that she taught me. I do it on my client so I think her for making my work a little easier for me.
