Meet Andrea Garces | Personal Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Andrea Garces and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Andrea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My Though process is changing the health and medical system. Everyday I Invest in studying Nutrition and alternative medicine in order to improve my body, brain and performance. I believe fitness is the future.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business Started randomly, I was in a toxic relationship and I used fitness to strengthen my heart and uplift my confidence. I’ve been helping men and woman with their health and confidence; thats my brand. Society has regulated judging different body types but when I train i uplift muy clients through my words and encouragement.
It is not easy being a female personal trainer in Los Angeles, Specially being 5’2 most people think size matters in terms of being a good trainer, but I am proving others wrong.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If a friend was in town I would do the following.
1. Hiking with Kreation juice
2. Sunset Strip dinner at night at katana or tao
3. Santa Monica beach bikes
4. Observatory griffith park
5. nobu malibu for brunch
6. Hightlight room night club
7. Equinox weho training
8. I pic movie experience
9. rodeo drive shopping
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My story hasn’t been supported by many. A lot of people told me not to pursue fitness or arts. I believe in myself which is why i keep pushing for my vision. I read a book How Successful People think by John C. Maxwell. It opened my eyes and made me feel like i was thinking in the correct way.Thinking outside the box and pursuing what hasnt been done yet always motivates me.
