We had the good fortune of connecting with Andy B. Scheidemann and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Andy, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I basically wanted to create something that would bring happiness and entertainment to people, when i started my channel it was all about fun, doing something that would make me happy and also make people forget what was going on in the world, because we were in the middle of covid times! I also wanted the freedom of being my own boss, managing my time and space, i knew it wouldn’t be easy start from zero but i was ready to give it my all. But over all i knew it had to be something that was my passion that i truly enjoyed, inwas tired of hating my life going to a meaningless job i wanted to smile every morning again.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
So i have a youtube channel called “The Real Andy of Beverly Hills” and its truly my passion, i talked about everything that is going on in the world of pop cultures, basically a reporter for entertainment news. And no it has not been easy, youtube is a complicated journey that will take you on a roller coaster of emotions and obstacles but once you get to a certain point is really amazing. The way i connect to my community makes it all worth it. It all about consistency, create your point of view and never bend to what society wants. Dont be afraid of backlash or haters, they will make you stronger. I want the world to know that with hard work, dedication, love and support everything is possible.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Los Angeles so there are so many things to do, for me every city has its own magic, so usually i take people everywhere, i love to take them to have an amazing breakfast burrito at “the roaster”, go through the streets of beverly hills and even a walk through the walk of fame in hollywood is a must no matter how overwhelmed it could be, watch the suntet at santa monica pier, and of course party the night away at heart club and the abbey in west hollywood. My favorite restaurants are SUR and TOMTOM, but if you come with me i will take you to have amazing street tacos, and also ramen in little tokyo! I LOVE L.A.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Well, if i have to be very honest there are 3 people that deserves credit, the first one it has to be Andy Cohen and Bravo, they created the most successful shows i have ever seen i is literally what my content is all about, without them there would not be my channel (the real andy of beverly hills), second i have to give the credit to my husband, Sebastian Soto, even though he didn’t even knew i was doing my channel for some months, he gave me the inspiration to go for it, as he is also a content creator for way more years than me. And third well i have to give credit to myself, it was very hard for me to put myself out there i have always been very shy, i suffer from social anxiety and have been considered an outcast all my life, so it took a lot of me to over come several fears and start film my first video!
