Meet Angel Moreno | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angel Moreno and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angel, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I pursued a creative career because growing up I always loved watching films, and story lines. I love how you can tell a story through video and have your audience feel multiple feelings at once. I chose this path because I want to express my feelings through video, and tell stories.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The hardest part was to get started, taking that leap of faith, and taking the risk. What I feel that sets me apart from others is my authenticity. Social media now a days is a trend, and I try my best to not follow that trend and give as much value as I can to the people. I started this career for me, but now it’s much bigger than me. I do this to teach others that they can do it too. I’m proud of myself for staying strong, and staying in the game. There’s no going back now. I can only see forward. I started with a cheap laptop and my iPhone, I’ve been trying to find a way since I was 15 years old. I lost money, relationships, family, but I pursued. No matter the obstacles I was gong through I had one goal in mind, and I created Showingillustration. I’m excited with what I’m gonna share with the world, and the value that I will provide. The biggest lesson I learned was to not wait on anybody, succeed and don’t worry about leaving the past behind. The right people will be by your side, when you need them. I want everybody to know that no matter where you’re at, someone always has it harder. Therefore there is no excuse to at least try. Anybody can do it, its you against you. Be a winner.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The San Fernando valley is a beautiful place, I enjoy eating food on Ventura Blvd and all over Encino. There is so much diversity, and you will definitely enjoy your time there. I can’t forget about the views ! There are so many views here in the city. You can see the entire valley from those views. The shopping centers are amazing ! So many businesses open, with lots of diversity.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My girlfriend and my best friend have been supporting me since day one, and will continue to support me. Shoutout to all my clients that I have worked with, and believed in my vision. If it wasn’t for them I would never be where I am now. The people who pushed me the most were the people who didn’t believe in me.
