Meet Angel Torres | Founder

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angel Torres and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angel, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I would say the most important factor behind the success of All Paws Express would have to be our determination to help families reunite with their pet(s) during an ever changing world within the pet relocation industry. Between a global pandemic and regulations that continue to change we were forced out of our comfort zone to find creative routes to get pets home which in the larger picture helped us grow and improve our skillset and knowledge.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
All Paws Express is a domestic and international pet relocation business. We strive to reunite families with their pets in a developing world. As the owner of All Paws Express I am most proud of the team we have developed and continue to grow as it is exciting to see our company gain recognition within the industry and create joyful moments for families around the world. Starting All Paws Express was not easy as the COVID-19 pandemic hit just 1 year after our doors opened, but it was a blessing in disguise as it helped us be creative and find new ways of getting pets around the world and forced us to keep learning and staying ahead of new regulations put in place during those hard times. We have learned that when there is a will there is a way and the joy you get from reuniting families is priceless.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Living in LA there are so many things to do and see, we are blessed to live so close to all kinds of terrains such as the beaches, mountains, city, desert etc. If I had a friend visiting we would start off local as I grew up in Torrance which is in the South Bay (Beach Cities). I would take my friend to some local restaurants which my favorite is Sushi and we would go to Flying Fin Sushi in Redondo Beach as they have amazing staff and even better food! We would have to check out some of the local sports events such as Dodgers, Lakers, Rams, LA Kings games! Santa Monica Pier is a must see and we would go to some local restaurants in the area. Redondo Beach Pier is also a great time and the crows nest at Tony’s on the Pier is a great place for views, food and drinks.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to my brother, Robert Torres of Millennials Digital, as he has always been an inspiration to me especially when it comes to dedication and staying motivated to further pursue my dreams as an entrepreneur. Robert has always been there to hear out my thoughts and ideas on new business plans. I can always count on him for constructive criticism and strong support.
