Meet Angeline Woo | Founder of EL OJO, Editorial Content for Michelin Restaurants

We had the good fortune of connecting with Angeline Woo and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Angeline, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?

The values I hold dearest is harmony and intentional growth.  I believe the best relationships, in life and business, feel free, authentic and beneficial for all involved.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

I’m an Art Director and Photographer who creates strategized videos and photos for brands.  I love capturing the stories of goods in relation to their space. I grew up with my parents owning restaurants, and as a creative entrepreneur, I enjoy working with people in the food/bev industry.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Some of my favorite spots in Los Angeles are the lake at Deb’s Regional Park, the Bonaventure Hotel’s revolving rooftop restaurant, Fig Earth Supply in Highland Park, Human Resources art space, tidepools at Leo Carrillo, and food from Bestia, Bay Cities, Cookbook, Proof, Meals by Genet.  We’d end the visit by hugging cows and chickens at the Gentle Barn in Santa Clarita.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

My son, Holden.  He consistently inspires me with his courage and delightful insights, and I respect the poignant way in which he’s unfolding his journey.  Loving him and being loved by him will make your heart shine.
