We had the good fortune of connecting with Anny + Giovanna Baez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anny + Giovanna, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
My partner and I started this business 9 years ago when we were on our lowest point. We couldn’t make ends meet, but we had a strong desire of pursuing of dreams of being photographers. Every night we spoke about what our life would be like, how we would travel and document all these amazing love stories. We wanted to build something that would let us connect with people and also make a living out of it.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
This business is based in love. We are two wifeys who have their own love stories, who believe in the celebration of the commitment that 2 people make to each other. We go season after season, holding hands and creating visual legacy for others who feel similar to us. We hear our client’s vows and it reminds us of why we started documenting weddings in the first place, how It started as a dream, and now is our long life plan

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’d always go to the beach. Sunrises are my favorite thing in the world. A good coffee and watching how the world slowly wakes up, how the sky changes colors…

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Both our families supported us during our journey in entrepreneurship. It was hard when we didn’t have any income, but they believed in us.
