Meet Anthony Settanni | Talent Agent (Music)

We had the good fortune of connecting with Anthony Settanni and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Anthony, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say the most important factor behind my success would be determination. There will be times of doubt where you may think that things just aren’t panning out in the directing you hoped it would, or you aren’t making progress as quickly as you thought you would. Determination is what keeps the dream alive even in times or hardship and doubt. On the days I don’t feel like working on my own progress are they days where I ended up working harder than I thought I could and getting more done than I thought I was able to.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What I am most proud of is the development of my professionalism. I came into the Music Industry as a Personal Trainer with no prior experience within the industry. To be able to come into this career as an inexperienced intern to go on to building my own roster of clients who I consistently service is a milestone achievement for me and I look forward to the continued growth of myself as an Industry professional which of course did not come easy. There were always challenges, trials and tribulations along the way but like I mentioned before, couldn’t have done it without the support from my Breakpoint Booking team. A few things I’ve learned along the way to be consistent and to not be afraid to “be annoying”. What I mean by that is to not be afraid to ask questions, no matter how “tedious” or “dumb” they may seem. Another major lesson I’ve learned is to be consistent! No one likes someone who is just sometimes on the ball, even on days where you don’t feel like it, do it anyway! Those are the days that mean the most.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a special shoutout to the Breakpoint Booking team. The Owner and Founder of Breakpoint Booking, Isaac Gordon, has pushed me to become who I am today. Isaac consistently provides me with opportunity, motivation, support and the knowledge to become the Talent Agent I am today. I began as an eager Intern for Breakpoint Booking and to see how Isaac and the rest of the Breakpoint team has encouraged and helped me grow is such a blessing. I also have to give a Shoutout to Nick “Vice” Gatewood, Jesse Leon who have been there to support me since the beginning of my Journey as well as some of the newer additions to the Breakpoint family along the way such as Rich Jean-Jacques, Alec Arouh, Ethan Fowler, Gage Luce and George Kolta!
