We had the good fortune of connecting with Antione Joyner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Antione, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
Growing up, my grandmother would always use the phrase “Can’t Been Dead” meaning there isn’t anything I can’t do or accomplish when it comes to my dreams and goals.
That’s something that’s ringed in my head all my life and one of the key factors of know that all is possible not only with self, but with God as well.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I think what sets me apart the most is my confidence.
My family raised me to have a God fearing/Free-spirit mentality that I’m so comfortable in my own skin that it’s not an outfit or look I think I couldn’t pull off.
But that’s what also makes my style and what’s brought me this far.
When working with new clients I like to work with these 3 ingredients: Something they like or a fan of, Something Minimal. And Something they couldn’t imagine and then it’s my job to combine that to one.
Trust me it’s easier said than done lol.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My favorite spot in Atlanta would have to be broken down in these 3 categories:
Food: Chattahoochee Food Works, if you’re fan of ghost kitchens or places with a variety of eats, this is my go to when wanting to grab a bite or work and eat.
Shopping: If you’re visiting the city, you gotta check out Request Boutique and Goodtimes ATL. They always have the rare finds of Atlanta.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to everyone that’s Team #RGB and everyone that ever believed in me.
