We had the good fortune of connecting with Arabia and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Arabia, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind my success is Faith. I literally put God at the forefront of my life and path. I had no clue how things would work out for me moving to LA. However, I put my faith in not only God but also myself that I too can do this.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I just finished my first self published book titled, ‘But I’m Fine Tho: Khadija Parker’. I was not a writer let alone even a reader for that matter. However, I pushed myself to finishing my masterpiece. Along this journey, I have endured many obstacles of feeling inadequate, sadness from trauma and even this isn’t my lane. I pushed through but I did have moments of “what if they don’t get it”. I had to understand that if one person gets it then my job here is done. Pushing yourself to goals that seem scarce but they will eventually make you smile in the end.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would for sure take my guest to Weho and get Louisiana Fried Chicken. It’s only right to party in Weho for cheap drinks. Then go grab greasy chicken.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shoutout to my mother Carmen for always being in my corner. Thank you for supporting me along this journey!
