Hi Ariana, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is 100% the team that supports me. For so long I had this idea that I needed to be every woman and do everything by myself but I quickly realized that is not how to achieve success and growth. It is so important to surround myself with like minded & goal oriented people so that I am constantly wanting and reaching for the betterment of myself and the business.

What should our readers know about your business?
Full Bawdy is truly an oasis for your head to toe needs. Starting with head to toe waxing for men & women, body sculpting, intimate bleaching, spray tanning, to specializing in curly hair care, color & cuts. I believe what sets me apart is the niche in each service that I offer. Being a black owned wax studio makes a huge difference in comfort level with my black clients (men & women), our hair grows differently and should be treated as such. With such intimate services I provide a sense of comfort & peace in an usually uncomfortable position. I am a thick girl with curly hair and a lot of my clients feel comfortable coming to me because of it; spray tanning, body sculpting, waxing & especially curly hair all require a level of vulnerability in which I nurture and try to build up instead of take advantage. I have made SO many mistakes along the way & missed a lot of opportunities (due to being scared) that when the opportunity to step out on my own came about I was ready to take on the responsibility. The lessons occur everyday but a huge one is having faith & trust that I am doing what I was created to do and what is for me is for me, as long as I focus on doing what is necessary and always reaching for better I’ll be able to accomplish everything I have in mind. This is just the beginning 0f Full Bawdy 1/2 way through my first year and there is so much more to come. The clients are the heart of Full Bawdy and 100% make the sleepless nights & stressful days worth it.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend is in town and I can not wait to take her to my favorite spots in the IE! To start out we will have to pull up to R & R Breakfast Spot in Chino they have the best brunch and it is a black woman owned business! Saturdays Terra Vista Town Center in Rancho Cucamonga hosts the best farmers market where we will pick up some delicious peach cobbler cookies from The Cookie Jar. Afterwards we will walk the sugar off at Victoria Gardens and shop around in the beautiful outdoor mall. I am originally from Orange County so at some point I will have to take my girl down to the water my favorite place. Laguna Beach has the best beaches with the most spectacular views, it provides the ‘ahhhh vacation’ vibes. On our way back up to the Inland Empire we will go plant shopping at Potted With Love in Lake Forest to pick up some new and unique plants for my shop & home. To end our time together I will have her come into my shop to offer a vagacial or steam hair treatment. I love providing luxurious experiences for my loved ones.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have to give it up to my honey, my partner, my baby daddy. Before we had a child he saw the potential in me and has always pushed me to be the best me that I can be. Years of all nighters & long conversations dreaming, planning & strategizing how to be better there is no Full Bawdy without Julian Hall. We have a 2 year old & without his encouragement and support there is no way I would be able to do all this without him. When it comes to holding me down and keep me focused on what is important he is the piece to my puzzle.
