Meet Ariel Lavi | International Film Producer, Screenwriter, Judge at Sunset Film Festival and Hollywood Screenings Film Festival

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ariel Lavi and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ariel, alright, let’s jump in with a deep one – what’s you’re definition for success?
For me , success is to work everyday in your dream job . Most of the people sometimes are give up about their dreams and working in a job they don’t love . If you work in what you really desire to work everyday it’s the best definition of success. I can tell you when I started people told me that to succeed in the film industry it’s impossible but I always believed I can be successful . I worked hard and now I can be proud of what I achieved so far but I can be better.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m an International Film Producer and Screenwriter. I produced films in the US, Mexico, Nigeria, Dubai, Canada. My films won 64 awards all over the world. I’m a Judge at Sunset Film Festival and Hollywood Screenings Film Festival in Los Angeles. I won Best Producer at indiex Film Festival in Los Angeles. Soon my film I produced “A Brush With Death” and my film I wrote and produced in Nigeria “Dangerous Silence” will be screened at Golden State Film Festival at TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. I started to produce my films without any help and it succeed . I started my way as an actor and than I understood I have to create opportunities. That’s the reason I did it . It was hard but it’s happened . The most important lesson I learned is you should control about your career and not anyone else.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would like to recommend about few places in Los Angeles – Griffith Observatory – one of the most beautiful places in LA, Warner Bros Studio Tour Hollywood, Universal Studios Hollywood, Los Angeles Zoo is amazing place too , Santa Monica, and I would recommend in addition the Hollywood Sign .

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
