Meet Arthur Onni | Founder of Event Agency & Sunday Sessions LA

We had the good fortune of connecting with Arthur Onni and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Arthur, what makes you happy? Why?
Happiness, for me, is the meaning of life. My main company, Onni, is even named after the Finnish word for “happiness.” This philosophy is deeply rooted in everything I do. Onni specializes in organizing exceptional events for major brands and companies, helping them create memorable experiences that resonate with their audiences and achieve their goals.
What makes me truly happy is creating experiences that inspire people, connect them, and leave lasting memories. Whether it’s organizing events through Onni or fostering a creative community with Sunday Sessions LA, I find joy in knowing that my work brings value to others and makes their lives brighter. Seeing the smiles of our guests at Sunday Sessions LA or the success of a client’s brand activation fills me with purpose.
Happiness also comes from balance — being able to do what I love while spending time with the people who matter most. It’s about finding harmony between pursuing my passions and contributing positively to the world around me.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business journey is centered around two main projects: Onni, an event agency specializing in creating exceptional experiences for major companies and brands, and Sunday Sessions LA, one of the largest vinyl-focused music communities in Los Angeles. Both projects are built on the foundation of creativity, quality, and connection, but each has its unique story and purpose.
What Sets Us Apart
What makes Onni and Sunday Sessions LA stand out is our commitment to crafting meaningful and memorable experiences. At Onni, we deliver tailor-made events that go beyond expectations, blending creativity with precision. Whether it’s a corporate event, a product launch, or a private gathering, we strive to align every detail with our clients’ goals while creating something extraordinary.
For Sunday Sessions LA, what sets us apart is our dedication to vinyl culture and building a genuine community of music lovers. Our events are curated with a focus on authenticity, featuring vinyl-only sets from talented DJs in inspiring venues. We offer more than just music; we create a space where people can connect, collaborate, and immerse themselves in a unique atmosphere.
The Journey and Challenges
Getting to where I am today was far from easy. Building a business from scratch meant taking risks, making sacrifices, and navigating numerous challenges. For example, launching Sunday Sessions LA in a city like Los Angeles, where competition in the event industry is fierce, required carving out a unique niche. I focused on staying true to my vision, delivering consistent quality, and building trust with my audience.
One of the toughest periods was adapting to the uncertainties brought by the pandemic. Events were paused, but this time allowed me to rethink, refine, and come back stronger. I learned the importance of resilience and adaptability, which became critical lessons in overcoming challenges.
Lessons Learned
Consistency and Quality Matter: Delivering on your promises and maintaining a high standard builds trust and loyalty.
Community is Everything: Whether it’s clients, partners, or event attendees, relationships are the foundation of any business.
Stay True to Your Vision: Authenticity resonates with people and sets you apart in a competitive market.
Adaptability is Key: Being open to change and innovation helps you navigate unexpected challenges.
What I’m Most Proud Of
I’m most proud of the communities I’ve built through my work. Seeing people connect, find inspiration, and create lasting memories through Onni and Sunday Sessions LA is deeply rewarding. Whether it’s a brand finding new ways to engage its audience or someone discovering their favorite new artist at one of our events, those moments are what drive me.
What I Want the World to Know
At the heart of everything I do is a passion for creating experiences that matter. Whether it’s organizing events for global brands or fostering a creative community, my goal is to leave a positive impact. I want the world to know that my work isn’t just about events; it’s about bringing people together, celebrating creativity, and building something meaningful.
