We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashish Fernando and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ashish, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Superbikes are like toys for adults and carbon fiber (CF) parts are like jewellery for superbikes. My thought process behind starting Turn1 was driven by my passion for superbikes and a desire to provide high-quality carbon fiber parts for the biking community. Apart from being durabile, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing, CF parts can significantly improve a bike’s speed and handling.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
About Turn1.co At Turn1.co, we specialize in manufacturing high-quality carbon fiber parts for motorcycles, including renowned brands such as BMW, Kawasaki, Agusta, Ducati, Honda, Suzuki, and KTM. Proud Moments and Exciting Milestones
One of our proudest moments was being recognised by the Utah Biker’s Community. The feedback from riders who have experienced the difference our products make is incredibly rewarding. We are excited about continuously pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in motorcycle performance and design.
The Journey
Getting to where we are today has been a journey filled with challenges and learning experiences. It wasn’t easy, but perseverance, adaptability, and a clear vision have been our guiding principles. We faced hurdles such as sourcing the right materials, perfecting our manufacturing processes, and building a brand from scratch. However, each challenge was an opportunity to learn and grow.
Overcoming Challenges
We overcame challenges by staying committed to our vision and being open to feedback. Collaboration and teamwork played a crucial role, as did a relentless focus on quality and customer satisfaction. By listening to our customers and continuously refining our products, we were able to build trust and a loyal customer base.
