We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashley Kermani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashley, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Zentap enables real estate agents to thrive with software that streamlines their real estate marketing to help gain more leads and close more business. Becoming an Real Estate Agent myself back when the pandemic started in 2020, everything I thought I knew about Real Estate changed. From door knocking and cold calling for 8 hours straight, people were not responding due to the pandemic. I then discovered Zentap, which helped me in too many ways to count. Zentap helps Realtors with their marketing. They have created a dashboard that automates content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google My Business, and even Lead Generation! They have amazing branded infomercials that are Real Estate related as well as local market reports for your desired area you are targeting. Overall, Zentap offers easy and affordable marketing solutions to one of the fastest growing industries. Zentap helps agents all over the US!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am most proud of never giving up on what I believe in. In 2017, I began working at Adidas. Throughout my time at Adidas I grew very passionate about the brand. Everyone who knew me, knew me as the Adidas girl. After 1 year with the company, I got promoted to a supervisor position. The transition to a leadership and customer service role helped me grow as a person individually and as a team leader at Adidas. After 4 years of living and breathing Adidas, it was time to part ways as I graduated from UCLA.

Throughout my time at Adidas, I learned many things. The first being. I love helping give people a service and experience they will never forget while shopping at Adidas. Second, I learned I was born to sell things to people. I took my passion for customer service as well as selling and went to study to become a Realtor. I finally got my Real Estate License during the pandemic. It was very difficult starting a new career as an agent especially when the market was on fire, in the middle of the pandemic. Homes were selling over asking, in multiple offers and non-contingent. The first few months were very difficult, but I did not give up. I learned that being an Agent is more than just showing clients homes and writing offers. It takes time, patience, and most importantly consistency. Shortly after, I represented a buyer in purchasing a commercial property. I was on cloud-9. My hard work finally paid off and I was on a roll. I did face many challenges because as an agent you don’t get paid until the escrow is closed. With the help of my brother I faced all the difficult bumps throughout my first year as an agent. I learned many important lessons. The first being, good things take time and patience is a very important quality to have. I then learned how important it is for Realtors to promote themselves as much as possible. On Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Google. From this, I found my way to Zentap.

I started working at Zentap not too long ago. Zentap offers an all in one digital marketing solution for Real Estate agents that covers content, lead generation and their overall online presence. What I do at Zentap is offer help to agents who do not have the time to create content. Being an agent myself I understand the struggles other agents go through., having to be a sales and marketing professional expert. I am able to take everything I have learned from my previous experience and make life easier for the other agents like me who do not know where to start when they get their license and need to start building a pipeline of clients.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If anyone came to visit me for a week-long trip here in LA, I would first tell them to not pack any tight clothes., since we would eat our way throughout Los Angeles. Starting with breakfast at Dialog Cafe in West Hollywood. We would definitely have to stop at my favorite coffee shop, Alfreds and get an iced matcha latte. I would then take them to Melrose and walk along all the cool sneaker shops as I am a huge sneakerhead!

I would definitely take them down to Malibu beach and have lunch at the famous Nobu and our way back, I would make a quick stop in Santa Monica and visit the 3rd Street Promenade, which has many cute stores and restaurants, then make our way to the pier to enjoy a few rides.

Last but not least, for dinner I would recommend going to Jon and Vinny’s. The ambiance and the food is really amazing! Jon and Vinny’s is by far my go to for when I want to enjoy a night out with friends, listen to music and to just have a great time with great company! I definitely would recommend getting the spicy fusilli, you won’t regret it!

At the end of the day there are always good places to eat, a ton to sightsee and the beach!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am dedicating this shoutout to my brother, Benjamin Kermani. My brother has had a huge impact on the woman I am today. From a young age, he mentored me and shaped me into the business woman I am today. With him being 7 years older than me, I remember watching the way he interacts with everyone. He is the type of person who can sell anything to anyone. The biggest lesson I learned from my brother is to never take no for an answer and there is always a way to get what you want, you just cannot give up. Without him, none of my success would be possible. He is my number 1 supporter and always guides me in the right direction. In the last 3 years, he taught me everything there is to know from Real Estate, the stock market, and most importantly to never give up when things get difficult. I definitely owe everything I have to my brother! Love you Ben!
