Meet Ashton Koontz | Model, Wardrobe Stylist, and Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Ashton Koontz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Ashton, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say to always elevate, never get too comfortable and stay consistent. Often times, people start things and fail very quickly because they are not patient or consistent with themselves and the process. Success takes time and you have to put your all in everything you do. I want people to come to my page and be inspired and try something new they would never have thought about doing. Engaging with your audience and posting high-quality content takes you a long way.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Styling and Fashion is something that I have always loved and found a passion in. Clothing is subjective and a way to express yourself, through many textures, fabrics, and styles. Aside from releasing my self-development book last year, “The Brilliant Boss”, I have something big in the works I cannot wait to share coming very soon. No matter what curve balls life might throw at you, it is important to push through and be the best version of yourself during the process and remember you are in control of your life and business. If you have a vision or a goal, go for it. You are capable of anything you put your mind too.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I definitely would take my best friend to grab a coffee or matcha, go to a workout class such as yoga or pilates, and shopping, even a nice evening out for dinner! There is nothing better than getting dressed up and taking pictures for any occasion. A little fit check is always a good idea!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A lot of my inspiration and drive comes from business owners in similar industries to me, whether it is a new and upcoming brand, or one that has been around for decades. Also, the select few of friends and family that have supported me since the very beginning is a big reason to my success. Without them believing in me and encouraging me to keep pushing forward, I would not be the person I am today. It is so important to surround yourself with good energy and wise individuals.
