We had the good fortune of connecting with Asia Arnett and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Asia, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind starting my own business was rooted in a deep desire for freedom, fulfillment, and purpose. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be my own boss—I never liked being told where to be, when to show up, or how much I could earn. As I grew older, I realized that traditional paths left me feeling limited and unfulfilled. I craved time freedom, financial freedom, and a sense of balance.

I began my entrepreneurial journey as a chef and built a successful catering business. Over time, I explored different business ventures, as my passion and interests peaked, always learning, evolving, and sharing what I knew when asked. I noticed I would get asked the same questions: How did you do it? Can you help me? That’s when I discovered my true calling—empowering others and helping them bring their visions to life.

That calling led me to become a certified professional coach and eventually inspired me to create my own coaching academy to offer an array of services. I wanted to build a space where spiritually conscious women could access the education, tools, and support they need to live with intention, align with purpose, and experience holistic wealth in every area of their lives.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business, Innovative Dream Academy, is a sacred space where spiritually conscious women transform their lives by aligning their internal truth with external success. We guide women through the four pillars of holistic wealth—financial mastery, personal well-being, spiritual alignment, and purposeful living—so they can live as their highest selves, in every area of life.

What sets us apart is our integrated, soul-led approach. Many programs focus only on mindset or financial strategy, but we go deeper. We ignite a woman’s inner goddess, helping her harmonize her money, mission, and identity with who she truly is. We don’t just teach—we transform. And because I’ve lived many of the same struggles—through motherhood, entrepreneurship, burnout, and rebirth—I bring more than information. I bring intuition, empathy, and embodied experience.

I’m most proud of the impact we’ve made by showing women that they don’t have to choose between spiritual fulfillment and financial freedom. They can have both. I’m most excited about watching women reclaim their power and finally create lives that feel deeply aligned—not just from the outside, but from the inside out.

My work is grounded in over a decade of diverse entrepreneurial experience. I’ve worn many hats—executive chef, successful catering business owner, co-founder of a vibrant hookah lounge, and creator of a clean vegan beauty brand. Each of these ventures taught me valuable lessons about success, sacrifice, and alignment. They gave me the confidence to trust myself—and the clarity to know that true wealth isn’t just about achievement. It’s about peace, purpose, and presence.

Getting here wasn’t easy. I’ve had to pivot, rebuild, and realign more times than I can count. I’ve launched businesses, closed others, and walked through spiritual warfare to rediscover who I really am. But every challenge taught me how to lead myself—through trust, surrender, and divine connection. I overcame by listening to my intuition, anchoring into my values, and knowing I am here to serve.

What I want the world to know is this: I created this work from the inside out. Innovative Dream Academy is not just a brand—it’s the embodiment of my healing, my wisdom, and my calling. It exists to remind women that they are worthy of peace, prosperity, and purpose—all at once.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I’d create an experience that reflects everything we both love—good food, good energy, nature, and meaningful connection. We’d start by visiting a few of my favorite local restaurants—I love supporting small businesses and sharing meals that nourish both the body and the soul.

We’d spend some time by the water, the beach preferably, walking the pier, soaking in the peace, and just enjoying the moment. We’d bike ride and roller skate along the beach path—having fun, making our inner child so happy. We’d also head to a local farmer’s market, pick up fresh produce and handmade goods, and just enjoy the slower pace. One of the highlights would be brunch (or two) at a spot with a DJ playing classic R&B—amazing food and good music is the perfect vibe for connection and joy. We’d carve out space for creativity too, maybe doing a paint-and-sip or a craft class, just to express, unwind, and laugh together.
We’d also spend time in Leimert Park, soaking in the culture, creativity, and soul of the space. A day trip to Disneyland would definitely be on the list, just to tap into playfulness and joy.

To wrap up the week, we’d share a beautiful fine dining experience somewhere with great ambiance, and exquisite cuisine and enjoy deep conversation, and a toast to life, sisterhood, and alignment. For me, the perfect visit is about creating space to feel present, connected, and restored. Being with your best friend is refreshing and so good for the soul.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My journey wouldn’t be what it is without the love, guidance, and spirit of those who’ve poured into me—both in this realm and beyond.

First, I dedicate this shoutout to my grandmother. She taught me so much just by spending time with me—passing down trades, wisdom, and love that later became essential parts of my life. I lost her too soon, while still in high school, to cancer. But even in her passing, she became my guardian angel—still guiding, protecting, and loving me from the other side.

Next, I send a special shoutout to my beautiful mother—my person, my ride or die. No matter what, it has always been the two of us. Your huge heart, unwavering love, and your desire to genuinely help others has passed on to me. This part of you shaped the woman I’ve become, the phenomenal mother I am, and the light and love I radiate in the world. Thank you for it all Mom, I love infinitely.

I also give deep thanks to my spirit guides and ancestors—every step I take forward is in honor of them who came before me, especially those who never had the chance to walk the path I now walk because of them.

And finally, thank you to every mentor, every organization, and person who has ever guided me, supported me, or trusted me to be part of something meaningful. Your belief in me helped shape my path, and I carry your impact with gratitude.
