Meet Asia Warren | Pet & Service Dog Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Asia Warren and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Asia, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I had always had an obsession with animals from a young age. When I started to work with dogs ranging from service work to shelter dogs or general obedience, I knew that I really wanted to help further. I had always had an entrepreneurial spirit to me. I grew up in a family that had ran their own businesses so I knew I wanted to do that as well. I guess you could say dogs and business was something I felt called to and what better way to combine them both then with dog training. I focus a ton on service dogs due to being a disabled handler myself. A few years back I was bed bound from head trauma and felt trapped. Service dogs are what kept me going and I knew I wanted to center a lot of my work around them. It was a thanks to my service dog and all the future lifelines I’d be providing those in need.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I would say I am most proud/ excited about the future dogs in my program. The goal is to raise a service dog and a well trained pet dog a year and place them into homes. I am excited to give someone their life back with a service dog and feel like they can conquer the world. As for the pet dog, I am excited to give a family a dog they can feel confident in. A dog they can have their kids around and take places and know that there dog is safe and reliable no matter what.
My passion for dogs made the journey worth it. If there was one thing I would want the world to know about my brand it would be how I imperfect it can be to own a dog. You are trying your best and that’s what matters. My brand as a whole focuses on having fun with your dog and knowing that they aren’t robots. I love to show others the potential their dogs have and just what can they accomplish with confident handling.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to Trio Cafe. They have the cutest little coffee shop and the best customer service.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to shoutout all of those who continue to support me on social media. Had it of not been for the thousands of supporters I have, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I’d also love to thanks first ever service dog named Koda. He was a rescue who ended up rescuing me.
