Meet Bailey York | Founder of BAYLATES. Personal Trainer, Wellness Coach, Yoga, Pilates, and Barre Instructor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bailey York and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bailey, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Human connection. My brand wouldn’t be where it is without making genuine connections with my clients. I have many loyal followers that have been with me from the start of my teaching journey and have supported my growth throughout the years. It’s really important to me that my clients feel my energy and love.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
BAYLATES is more than just a fitness brand; I like to think of it as a lifestyle. What sets BAYLATES apart is our holistic approach to health and wellness. We combine the best of Pilates, yoga, barre, and functional training to create dynamic and effective workouts that not only transform bodies but also your mindset.
One thing I’m particularly proud of is our emphasis on inclusivity and accessibility. Fitness should be for everyone, regardless of age, body type, or fitness level. That’s why we offer a range of classes and modifications to suit individual needs.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. Like any entrepreneurial venture, there were challenges along the way. From securing funding to building a loyal client base, every step required dedication and perseverance. But through it all, I stayed true to my vision and never lost sight of why I started this journey in the first place: to help people live healthier, happier, and abundant lives.
The key to overcoming challenges, I’ve learned, is resilience and adaptability. You have to be willing to pivot when things don’t go as planned and to keep pushing forward, even when the odds seem stacked against you.
One lesson that stands out to me is the importance of building a strong community. Surrounding yourself with mentors, peers, and allies who believe in you can make all the difference when times get tough.
As for what I want the world to know about BAYLATES, it’s simple: I’m here to inspire and empower. Whether you’re looking to tone your body, quiet your mind, or simply have fun while working out, I’ve got you.
