Meet Beata Jutila | Actor & Dancer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Beata Jutila and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Beata, why did you pursue a creative career?
I pursued an artistic and creative career because it’s where my passion lies. From a young age, I’ve been drawn to the stage, dancing, acting, and bringing stories to life. These experiences have shaped who I am today and have filled me with a sense of purpose and fulfillment. Creating, performing, and connecting with audiences bring me immense joy, and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. I don’t see it as just a career, it is a way to express myself, share my experiences, and inspire and connect with others.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My art is a fusion of my passion for acting and dance, blending storytelling with movement to create captivating performances. What I think sets me apart is my versatility and ability to authentically portray a wide range of characters, whether it’s through a dramatic monologue or a dynamic dance routine. I’m most proud of my involvement in independent films, where I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with talented filmmakers and bring unique characters to life.
Getting to where I am today hasn’t been easy. Like any creative journey, it’s been filled with challenges and obstacles to overcome. However, through perseverance, determination, and the support of my loved ones, I’ve been able to navigate through these challenges and continue to pursue my dreams. Along the way, I’ve learned valuable lessons about resilience, self-belief, and the importance of staying true to myself and my artistic vision. I’ve discovered the power of perseverance and the importance of embracing failure as a stepping stone to growth and success.
I am deeply passionate about my craft and dedicated to creating meaningful and impactful art. I believe in the transformative power of storytelling and the ability of art to inspire, connect, and evoke emotion.I hope to inspire people to believe in themselves and pursue their passions, just like I have.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
My best friend from Finland is actually coming to visit me next week, and we’ve been planning our itinerary together. Since it’s not her first time in LA, we’re skipping some of the usual tourist spots and focusing on our favorite places. Griffith Observatory is one of my top spots, known for its breathtaking views and serene atmosphere, so it’s definitely at the top of our list. We’re also excited to spend some time at Malibu and Santa Monica beaches, soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean breeze. And of course we can’t miss catching a stunning sunset at El Matador Beach—it’s one of the most picturesque spots in the area.
One tradition we always uphold is visiting the Getty Museum to see their latest displays. The museum offers fantastic art and stunning views, and this time we’re adding the Getty Villa to our list since neither of us has been there before. Another favorite activity of ours is mini-golf at the Sherman Oaks Castle, which is always a blast.
We’re also planning to explore some new hiking trails during her visit. There are so many beautiful trails to choose from in the area, and it’ll be a great opportunity to enjoy nature and catch up.
In addition to outdoor adventures, we’ll be indulging in some shopping at iconic malls like The Grove. It’s always fun to explore the shops, grab a bite to eat, and soak in the lively atmosphere.
Choosing restaurants is a bit trickier because we love exploring new places, but there’s one spot I always come back to: Granville in Downtown Burbank. Their grilled cheese dipper is absolutely divine, and I can’t wait for my friend to try it. With our mix of sightseeing, beach time, cultural experiences, hiking adventures, shopping, and delicious meals, I’m confident it’ll be a memorable time for both of us.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I want to dedicate my shoutout to my amazing family, particularly my mom and sister. Their unwavering support, love, and encouragement have been the cornerstone of my journey. Whether it was attending my performances, offering words of wisdom, or simply being there to cheer me on, their presence has been a constant source of strength. Their belief in me, especially during moments of doubt, has fueled my determination to pursue my dreams. I am incredibly grateful for their sacrifices, guidance, and unwavering belief in my abilities. Everything I am today is because I grew up with such incredible women and role models. They are my biggest cheerleaders and the reason I am where I am today.
