Meet Bella Cirovic | Creator of Intention Blends

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bella Cirovic and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bella, we’d love to start by asking you about lessons learned. Is there a lesson you can share with us?
I’ve learned two important lessons since starting my business. The first lesson is that it is never too late to pivot. I worked in office administration and management for years before allowing myself to entertain the idea of pursuing my creative passion. At the time, I was in my early 40’s and it felt like a risk to change career paths. I just knew that if I didn’t take the leap soon, I would most likely spend the rest of my working years in an office, checking tasks off of lists. So I lept, slowly at first because I had no clue where to begin. It was the best decision I have ever made career wise. This brings me to the second lesson I’ve learned along the way. Don’t wait until everything is perfect to begin. Just begin! I made a few rookie mistakes in the early years, but I learned so much by just diving into the work and perfecting things along the way. Five years into running my business, I feel I have a greater sense of confidence because of taking risks which blends well with my curiosity for learning. I’m sure there are many more lessons to come.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am the creator of a line of aromatic oils that support and uplift how you want to feel. Each blend is carefully crafted with my unique brand of magic and intention so that you can feel your best. Made with all natural ingredients and no synthetics, you can apply my oils as often as you’d like throughout the day.

What sets my brand apart from the rest is that my oils are hand poured by me. I’m not a big factory maker. I work in a small studio where I make each blend myself. I attach every label on all the bottles. I answer every DM on Instagram. My brand is more boutique with a strong attention to detail.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Jodi McKee of Jewelweed Wellness Shop! Jodi and I met and became fast friends at a women’s retreat in Oregon many years ago. We both began our businesses around the same time. When she opened her shop, she placed an order with me to carry my oils, my first retail account! It’s been amazing to see her grow as a business owner alongside the growth of her store! She definitely inspires me to always show up as my best and ready to do the work in my own business.
