We had the good fortune of connecting with Beto Irigoyen and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beto, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Me and my team wanted a space where we could recognize ourselves as a laboratory to explore and have fun with all the experience we have gained over years of experience.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a Animation Visionary who has worked with clients as Cartoon Network, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Google, NBA… doing art for clients is fun, but I have more fun working on my friends, creating my own ideas, and as a Brown Bisexual Mexican my main 2 goals are:

1.to dignify Latin American representation to the media trough my art and stories, and bring hope to our narratives.

2. And abolish the precarious laboral system which has been normalized in all the Global South, we think a system of paid labour days could help to fight this cancer.

We should move with transparency, communication and therapy.

We want you to know, that my collective has the will not just to abolish the exploitation in creative industries, but also be the peak of the new wave of Solar Punk narratives which we bvelieve it will transform all humans into a more sensitive and responsible civilization. If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Amazing question. So here in Yucatan is sunny and hippie, don’t forget that here’s the place where the dinosaurs meteorite fell.

9am: I would take my friend to have breakfast at ChangoMango my favorite vegan spot to enjoy fruits in the sunny morning.

11am: After that we would go to “El corchito” the ecological park in which you can swim in the Cenotes, say hi to the Racoons, and draw some natural environments.

12 am: Lets visit an amazing Cenote in the middle of the jungle and really close to Mayan Pyramids. Its relaxing, mystical and super cold.

2pm: We should eat in the best sea food in Chelem, a very tiny Pueblo with the best fried fish and Shrimps Tacos in the region.

4PM: BEACH TIME! Lets have a joint in the beach and visit some virgin beaches in my friends wave runner while we enjoy the golden hour.

6PM: We should sleep in the hammocks in front of the beach, it has been and amazing day.

8PM: Lets start to prepare the fire pit and the dinner.

10 PM: Horror stories in front of the beach and starry night, if we are lucky we could see some weird things going on the sky.

12PM: Would you like to swim in the beach int he complete darkness? and Midnight tacos!

4PM: The sun is almost here <3

6PM: Its morning again, lets go sleep all day at my house <3
