Hi Brianna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As the founder and CEO of The Social Bee Co., I had a very intentional thought process behind starting my own business. I realized the immense potential and untapped opportunities for small businesses and entrepreneurs, particularly those owned by individuals from diverse backgrounds. I recognized that there were countless amazing ideas and products that people would love, but a lack of resources and knowledge hindered their growth and reach, especially for owners of color.

With this, my passion for helping small businesses and entrepreneurs grow and scale their ventures ignited. I saw an urgent need to bridge the gap, providing them with the tools, strategies, and support necessary to reach their target audiences effectively. My vision was to create an agency that would enable entrepreneurs to harness the immense power of social media and digital marketing, propelling their businesses toward sustainable growth and success. By starting The Social Bee Co., I wanted to empower these businesses to overcome the barriers they faced and unlock their full potential.

In essence, The Social Bee Co. emerged as a manifestation of my commitment to leveling the playing field and facilitating the growth and scalability of small businesses and entrepreneurs, bringing their incredible ideas and products to the forefront of the market.

What should our readers know about your business?
I think what sets me apart from others is my unwavering dedication and determination to make my dreams a reality. I am incredibly proud of and excited about my journey to get to where I am today in my business. It certainly wasn’t easy and required immense focus, determination, and sleepless nights.

During moments of self-doubt, I was fortunate to have an amazing support system of friends and family who reminded me of my worth and capabilities. Their belief in me played a significant role in overcoming challenges and staying motivated. I refused to let go of my dream, knowing that I would always wonder “what if” if I didn’t give it my all.

I am immensely proud to see the fruits of my labor come to fruition and witness the growth and scaling of different brands through The Social Bee Co. My brand is dedicated to supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs, especially those from underrepresented communities. It is my belief that by applying oneself wholeheartedly and giving maximum effort, one can achieve far more than one ever imagined.

Along the way, I have learned valuable lessons about the power of determination and perseverance. I have discovered that applying oneself and giving a project or goal maximum effort can lead to unimaginable success. Through my experiences, I have grown to understand the tremendous impact that support and belief can have on one’s journey.

I would want the world to know that The Social Bee Co. is dedicated to supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs because my own journey has taught me the power of self-belief, determination, and the value of unwavering support. I have seen firsthand the incredible things that can be achieved by applying oneself and giving a dream all of your efforts.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area and I wanted to show them the best time ever, I would start by taking them to some of my favorite brunch spots. We could choose between Poppy + Rose, Love You Latte, or Meet in Paris, depending on our mood. After a delicious brunch, I would want to immerse them in the quintessential LA experience by heading to Santa Monica Beach. We could explore the vibrant pier, enjoy the breathtaking views, and relax on the sandy shores. To end the day on a high note, I would take them to Culver City for dinner at the fantastic restaurant, Etta. With its amazing food and trendy atmosphere, it would be the perfect way to conclude an unforgettable day. Throughout the week, I would also make sure to squeeze in trips to iconic LA spots like Griffith Observatory, The Getty Center, and Hollywood Boulevard. Los Angeles offers so much in terms of entertainment, shopping, and dining, so I would also keep an eye out for exciting events, concerts, or festivals happening during their visit.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I owe a great deal of my success to the incredible people in my life, who have been my unwavering support system. Without their encouragement and belief in me, especially during moments of self-doubt, I wouldn’t have achieved what I have. So, I want to dedicate my shoutout to everyone in my circle who has been there for me. Your support has been indispensable in my journey, and I am truly grateful.
