We had the good fortune of connecting with Bruce And Chevonne Frank and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Bruce and Chevonne, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
Bruce and I grew up in Southern California. We met in college in 1985 in Los Angeles. We both come from a background of fashion merchandising and retail. Bruce‘s grandmother worked in the garment district in Los Angeles in the 50s and 60s Chevonne’s mother was a fashion designer, a seamstress and worked in retail as a buyer for a major Southern California department store in the 70s in the 80s
Chevonne grew up going to and being a part of many fashion show shows fashion has always been an important part of who we are
Chevonne’s father was into fashion as much as her mother. Her mother made all of their clothes during the 60s 70s and 80s and they were both one of the most fashionable couples around
Bruce’s grandparents migrated to LA from Louisiana in the 40s and as a young AA couple your appearance and style were an important part of who you were and how you showed yourself to the world

What should our readers know about your business?

We specialize in all the amazing fashion that we saw our parents and grandparents were from the 40s through the 90s
We bring to the public all the vintage well-made pieces from those eras
We offer both designer and well tailored pieces from the 40s 50s 60s 70s 80s and 90s
We believe in sustainability and reusing pieces of clothing that already exist. We love the history of all pieces that we present.
