We had the good fortune of connecting with Bry’Nt and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bry’Nt, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I didn’t “decide” to become a creative. I’m simply a creative person, and it just so happens that I also create works that serve me professionally.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I believe what sets me apart from others is that I’m Bry’Nt. You’re you. They’re them. We are all individuals that bring unique perspectives to the matters we participate in. I just so happen to be a person that tends to showcase my uniqueness.
I am most proud of the fact that I manifested the life I’m living. Call it destiny. Nothing was instantaneous. I was definitely the kid performing in the mirror. It sounds cliche, but, it was actually a foreshadow to my future. I was conditioning myself, when no one was watching, for as far back as I can remember. That makes me proud. And I’m excited to see the fruits of my labor.
I got to where I am today, professionally, by tapping into my gifts and developing them into talents. I understood what I was best at at an early age. I wrote my first rap in junior high school, and ever since, I had a vision of music being a major part of my life. Combine that with ambition and drive and a career came out of it. I overcame the challenges by having an unwavering faith in myself. That belief, helped me maintain the mental wherewithal to keep moving forward.
Nothing transgressive is easy. However, when you’re thinking about a bigger picture, the work involved is tolerable and most times, enjoyable.
The biggest lesson I learned is to never become complacent, always be willing to learn, and always have fun.
Everything I want the world to know is woven into my brain-children.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Brytinerary –

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shoutout to my parents that initiated my interests in the arts. Also, Kenneth Knight Jr., Esquire, Roger Innis, Francois Rousseau, Bethann Hardison, DJ Frank Nitty, and Roger Omeus Jr. Each of these people gave me professional support in the very early stages of my career that I will always appreciate.
