We had the good fortune of connecting with Bryson Looney and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bryson, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I think now days taking a risk is based on your confidence in yourself. Confidence isn’t something you’re born with, it’s built through hard work and progress. Once you’ve built your confidence up in a career field there aren’t many decisions you face where you feel like it’s a risk because you’ve worked for it. In my career I have recently decided to move to Oregon!! Many people see this as a high risk decision being that you could lose money, have to meet new people, and kind of build your reputation up all over again. In my head I only see it as a building step to only get more exposure on the confidence I have built.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Now I am a YouTuber/Basketball trainer, the field for both are very skim and I am proud to say that I have exceeded my standards. Reaching thousands of views and subscribers; I never thought YouTube would be in my future. Over time I developed a brand of funny content and a liking towards the community. I have always gave the shirt off my back to just about anyone, and if there is only one thing I want my supporters to remember is that it will always be this way.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Dallas, Texas and I like to think of myself as the perfect tour guide for the city. Starting the day off with food, Texas is well known for barbecue so I would take them by records barbecue in Dallas. After that we would go by the galleria mall, I am big on shopping and they have a lot stores that aid my addiction. Then lastly for the day would have to be something YouTube related. I have so many video ideas that I want to make happen I would love to complete them while they’re here.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There are many people that have played a part in every bit success I have received, but I want to give the biggest shoutout to first off god for continuing to bless me, then to my family and friends for pushing me to be great, and lastly to the game of basketball for allowing me to pour my passion into a craft that generates revenue and mental ease.
