We had the good fortune of connecting with Byrus West and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Byrus, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I just was wanting to be solely independent on myself.. My biggest goal is to be able to leave my family with a legacy to live off of for generations. Can’t do that but helping somebody else build their empire without building my own…

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am an artist sonically. I have been making music for years and have been successful in leveling up my sound every time I want to try and create something different. It was not easy getting to this point. Took a huge amount of work and patience but whenever you keep working for something, it will always come.

I want the world to look at my story and see that anything is possible. I want to be able to do anything I put my mind to. Life is about living and the last thing I’m going to do is hold myself back from doing so.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m going straight to Malibu beach. Catch a vibe being out in nature and probably grab some Dave’s Hot Chicken along the way ha.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to hugely shoutout my management team, THATSGOODGOLD.. They have been family to me. I don’t think I could be where I am without have them on my side..
