We had the good fortune of connecting with Candice Coke and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
When it comes to being an Artist, I think the most important thing for me is to stay open, play, and be ok with making the mistakes. I can look back on my ride so far and see that so many opportunities I thought I NEEDED, were not meant to be mine. I don’t see them as failures. I see them as guides that lead me to exactly where I am now. Just keep moving forward and keep having fun.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Who’s playing at the Hollywood Bowl!?! I love it there. As the days are getting warmer, I love a vintage flea market, or a Farmers market. You can get everything you need there ( food, wine, cheese, a cool blanket and candles) and bring it on down to LACMA for Jazz night! A fancy dinner at Sugarfish doesn’t hurt either.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to Paul kirkland, my partner…for supporting my journey and being a team player with all my endeavors. We met in this business years ago, so he gets it. Also Abraham Hicks…for keeping this mind/body connection in balance!
