We had the good fortune of connecting with Carina Jung and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carina, what do you want your legacy to be?
It sounds so simple, but I truly want to help people. I want to be remembered being someone who understood with her whole heart or even if she couldn’t understand because it wasn’t her personal truth, she still was there and listened with intention. As someone who grew up feeling different through all sorts of experiences, like growing up with a super sensitive body/system, experiencing allergies and intolerances at a very early age, always questioning everything and noticing things in the world around her that others didn’t on a very intuitive level, and someone always striving for more, and not being understood in that, being questioned, called to sensitive, too weak for this world – I strive to create space for humans like me, creating space to live life on our own terms and actually having the ability to become super successful, moving forward. My passion and purpose is to support those sensitive bodies of ours, to support our mind, body & soul connection and to create products and services which cater our needs. I am here to thrive and love and to show others that it’s possible to do so. I know how it feels to not be able to get out of the house and not being able to follow your dreams and I am determined to share the message that it’s possible to step out of that and live in a space where you can create the life you desire.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
What I am doing: I guide others into a state of arrival and ease, focusing on topics such as deep connection, (self-)intimacy, remembrance, movement, the nervous system, detoxification and nutrition. On top of that I am hosting a podcast, where I am talking with others about these topics, I have an ebook out to start you mind/body detox journey, because proper elimination and gut health is at the core of our wellbeing and in short I will be releasing a healthy hair care brand, called JB Haircare, encouraging you to take a pause.I strongly believe that I came here to do exactly what I am doing. My whole personal journey catapulted my into difficult relationships with others and into a mountain of health problems. At 12 for the first time I intuitively quit some foods as my body reacted strongly to them. At 16 I already was so deep into figuring out what could potentially make me feel better. In 2017 I had a huge rock bottom moment. Physically and mentally, I wasn’t able to leave my apartment back then and doctors were at a loss when it came to helping me. Everyone tried to cover up my symptoms from gut issues, intolerances to hormonal acne and heavy eczema flare ups. I can remember one particular moment, where I was thinking life is not supposed to be this way – it simply has to be different, enjoyable and I need to be able to follow my dreams. That’s where the main journey started.Since then I tried it all, all sorts of cleanses, gut repair programs, going from working in rigid ways to embracing more and more feminine softness. Today, I can proudly say, I am at a point where I can successfully and in my own ways pursue my dreams and a big one of them is helping others on their own paths. What sets me apart: Experience and my deeply rooted intuition that goes far beyond any protocol that one could follow to live a vibrant life. My goal is for my clients to embrace the innate wisdom that resides within them, and unlock the blueprint of their own path. What gets me stunned: Most of us call ourselves absolutely healthy and don’t even know what it truly means to feel good. We are not supposed to feel sleepy after meals, run around bloated and sluggish all the time. We can feel vibrant, look radiant and follow our dreams doing so. It’s possible. Toxicity within our bodies can disconnect us from the essence of who we are and that’s something we can change. You catch yourself saying yes to a path that doesn’t feel truly aligned at your core? When we tend to our nervous system and align nourishment of the body, we can profoundly shift our lives. And for that we need inner exploration and outer support. My biggest learning and what I want everyone to know too: You don’t have to carry the weight of the world on your shoulders. You don’t have to do it all or do it on your own. You are allowed to seek support.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
In LA, I would literally drag everyone with me into the most obvious wellness world possible. I’d hang out at Erewhon Market, getting one of those creamy smoothies with all the superfoods possible. We’d hang out with Bella Cataldi because she knows even more great places to be at. We’d definitely go to Laguna Beach just because it’s beautiful and I am such an ocean child. I’d also take my best friend to visit Tasha at Magnolia Wellness and perhaps we could even get little Hypnosis sessions or join a workshop/event and we absolutely have to drive over to the beautiful land of Lara Elliot to immerse ourselves into the magic of the farm land ending our day with nature, sounds and good company.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
One of my most loved supporters and mentors is my best friend Mackenzie Belcastro. We met in 2016 online through The Balanced Blond Facebook Group, because we both listened to her podcast. And became online friends until we met for the first time in Paris and since then meeting up in all sorts of places has become our regularity. I don’t know anyone who understands me like she does and simply talking to her is a cathartic experience. We are mutually getting ourselves through all sorts of experiences from business to dating and life at its core. Honestly, she is magic in a person. Without her I wouldn’t be where I am today.
