We had the good fortune of connecting with Cassio Pereira, Photographer and Creative Director of Aloha Creative Marketing, and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cassio, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I’ve always been interested in entrepreneurship. I think it was one of the most satiasfying process for me. Maybe because of my creative vision of exploring new businesses and places.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Photographing people and telling their story behind the lens has always been present in my life, so when I started with the Aloha Creative Marketing, we started to tell the story of these people within their business.

This is amazing and the best job I could ever asked to.

Writing my clients business stories and making them grow every day in the digital market is very rewarding.

Life has never been easy for a Latin American who arrives in a different country. But we don’t have choice, we need to focus, set goals and move forward.

I lost my mother, shortly afterwards we declared bankruptcy and I needed to rebuild myself. So I decided to leave my country and try a new start in the US. There were many days I thought about giving it all up. But I found in the marketing career a new way to reinvent myself. Art moved senses for all my challenges.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For sure I’ll bring them to Weho. I love the gay scene and being a gay man I love to be connected in some way with my community.

I could bring them to Santa Monica, to enjoy the weather and sun. We would definitely go to The Abbey for a couple drinks and food.

I’m still discovering the area, so I would love to have the opportunity as well to someone brings me for cool places around town.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
To myself, to my parents and all of those who somehow never let go of my hand in the most difficult times.
