We had the good fortune of connecting with Celeste gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Celeste, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I wouldn’t be here without so many risk taking decisions that not only transformed my business but my life. At the age of 30 left the corporate side of the 9-5 Monday to Friday job to start all over. I had no idea about social media, marketing, running a business. Looking back today having worked as a paid brand educator for hair brands to last year having worked directly with the Pinterest tv team for my monthly episodes it’s surreal sometimes to thing I started literally with nothing. Just a school loan and 12k to sustain me for a year while I attended school full time. At the time I had 2 kids and my husband who although he wasn’t sure about this was supportive to allow me to become the business owner and individual I am today.

Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
Well in 2020 when the we were in lockdown I took my secret Pinterest board of owning a mobile salon into becoming a reality.

Even when it comes to working with brands as a paid consultant, video creator and having a podcast I truly believe that being true to who you are is so important.

It has never been easy and imposter symptom of not seeing myself expert enough in the starting stages, can try to sneak up to stop me at times.

But being true to my background of being Latina and choosing to do bilingual content and showing up truly as the person I am not what is trending is what has kept me here now 6 years later.

If you want to be consistent and achieve truly goals or dreams you have be willing to take imperfect action and do it for someone.

Everything I do is to show my inner child how capable she is and show my children is never to late to follow your happiness and own path.

Although at times people laugh at me and don’t understand what I do bringing joy and helping one person is enough for me to continue helping others beyond my business by being an example with people that surround me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
So if my bestie was visiting me lol where would I take you. Well I would take you to a cafe that has the most beautiful hanging lights decor to have an amazing lavender latte.

Then I would take you on a hike to see the whole view of the city (petaluma) surrounded by trees and nature.

I would schedule a facial with my Favorite esthetician to renew your body and self thru relaxation.

Then I would take you to Sonoma, ca to have a sandwich at my favorite sandwich shop with fresh made sourdough bread and go explore all the surroundings of the magic of Sonoma.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Well aside my husband I would say my sister lol She’s in the medical field but has been my number one supporter from day one. Always pushing me to try new things, and when I was so insecure in myself she gave me her belief in me to keep me going so many times when I almost was about to call it quits.
