We had the good fortune of connecting with Charlie Seith and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charlie, what do you want your legacy to be?
To me, legacy is everything. It is a huge reason why I wanted to start Kolorhouse. The vision I have had has always been bigger than just myself. It is about leaving something behind that can continue to change and impact lives when I am long gone. I think for me, I want my legacy to be revolved around always looking to get the best out of others. That I always aimed to inspire as many people as I can to create whatever they want to in this lifetime. I think that will definitely carry over to Kolorhouse as a whole because it is that fuel that ignites the whole vision. So, when my time runs out on this planet, I want people to remember that I did everything to inspire and get the best out of themselves. That I gave it my all to give them a creative experience that changed their life for the better. I hope they remember that my only goal or dream in this life was to make other people’s lives better and a bit more creative.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Kolorhouse is a brand that seeks to cultivate creativity through clothing, community, and conversation. I think what sets us apart is our desire to bring creativity out in others. Much of society and the early stages of our lives discourage our ideas and the power we have to create. Our brand is centered specifically around that message and finding new ways to allow any person in this world to express their creativity. We believe that creativity is our superpower.

This story is far from over, but how we got to where we were today is through taking many risks and building a team that believes in the vision. I don’t like to reflect, but in some of the early stages of KH, there was a lot of overthinking. Although, things change when you just decide to change them. So I definitely think that my ability to think less and do more has gotten us to where we are today. A lot of it has just been mental hurdles that we have had to overcome. In addition, KH cannot be where it is today without the wonderful team I have built. We have done some amazing things because I have finally found people who believe in me and the future of KH. I am truly grateful for them and so excited to see what we do next.

The world should know that Kolorhouse is not just a brand, but it is a way of living. It is a creative experience. Through everything we do, we aim to instill that confidence and that power to create in anyone who encounters KH. Whether it is through our clothing, our events, or our interviews, we want you to know that you do not need permission to be creative. I know that our society tries to take that away from us, but just know that it is inside of you. If you truly listen to our message and are aware of what we release as a brand, then you will slowly begin to realize that you are not crazy for wanting to express your ideas. You are just creative.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I think what I have learned is that your company is everything. So whether we hit Downtown or grab a cup of coffee, I think that the experiences you have with people mean the most. I would definitely plan to attend a concert with them because I believe having experiences like that make you even closer. Having a creative experience with someone is all I can ever ask for.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would not be where I am today without my mother. Momma KH. She believed in my dreams before I did. Most importantly, she allowed me to chase them.

She’s allowed me to fail, succeed, and everything in between. She’s given me so much and a huge reason why I continue to push Kolorhouse forward is to give her everything that she has given me. The story is far from over, but my mom has always believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. She’s my superhero.
