We had the good fortune of connecting with Chase Bell and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chase, how does your business help the community?
I regularly get hired to produce music for projects whether thats Tv/Film/VideoGames/or Artist’s careers where other musicians are needed to get involved. I am a direct line between musicians and paid gigs in all genres of music. I am so grateful when I get to hire other musicians to work with me. 🙂
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
The longest journey you’ll take is from your mind to your heart. I knew very early on that music was my passion and I would work however long it took to make it in life through my dedication to the power of music. My new album “Where My Heart Leads” is a group of 6 songs about loving someone else and loving oneself. One of the big lessons I learned is that as I grew into different stages in my life I had to learn specifics and then learn to forget other things that were working in the last phase that no longer work for me in the present stage.
I always knew the most difficult thing would have been to do something other than make music in my life so I stuck to that as a driving force and it has brought me amazing things and a beautiful and happy life.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Go to the beaches in Malibu during the day, stop by Black Rabbit Rose at night in hollywood and find yourself a nice Airbnb to stay in the hills somewhere.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Theres so many people who helped me learn something or opened one door for me along the way. Women In Film got me a bunch of small commercial and PSA’s where as a composer and music producer I got to work in Tv. Amazing artists like Billie Eilish, Aloe Blacc, and many others who have come into my workspace and recorded with me. All the people who were inspired when I picked up a guitar and sang them a song, they helped me learn how I can positively effect those around me. All those people who thought I wouldn’t go anywhere so they didn’t want to associate with me, they taught me that opinions are not really important and can be useless. A big thanks goes to Meditation and staying centered and focus on the mission and being grateful to be here making music everyday.
