We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Rose Cook and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsea Rose, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
As an actress who’s been in Los Angeles for over half a decade, I’ve experienced the rollercoaster that is this volatile industry. When I first moved here, I was constantly spinning my wheels, questioning my abilities and talent, and burning myself out over and over because I didn’t feel like I was “good enough” to say no to any auditions or work.

In order to really get to this place where I now feel more than good enough, it took years of doing deep inner work, intentionally building up my confidence, learning how to trust my choices, and giving myself the validation I craved (instead of seeking it from external sources). Now, I feel incredibly worthy and I trust in the pace of my journey; and this sense of innate worth and faith led to back-to-back bookings.

Once I noticed this shift and realized how impactful the inner work was to giving me more success, I realized that this is a piece that I find to be lacking in the current marketplace. We see tons of courses for acting craft, audition technique, self-tape setup, networking, etc…but this is all based on external factors. What about the internal?

That is the question that my UNSHAKEABLE program for actors really seeks to answer. When actors work with me, we are getting to the root of what makes their self-worth feel shaky or incomplete, and doing the deep work to heal this and rewrite the story so that they can get back to trusting themselves, enjoying their passion, and booking like they’re meant to.

What should our readers know about your business?
Building my business has been a journey that mirrors the same work that I guide my clients through: one of trusting myself, letting go of comparison, and learning to stand firm in my own worth.

My business is centered around helping actors heal from the inside out. Through my program UNSHAKEABLE, I work one-on-one with actors to rebuild their confidence, move through self-doubt, and reconnect with their sense of purpose in an industry that can easily make you forget it.

What sets it apart is that we don’t just work on mindset at the surface level. Instead, we go deep to uncover the root causes of confidence and self-worth struggles, so actors can finally release what’s been holding them back. It’s not another class about self-tape technique or networking tips. This program is about strengthening the inner foundation that allows everything else in your life to flow more easily. When you do the inner work, it’s not just self-care – it’s strategy.

Getting here definitely wasn’t easy. Like many actors, I went through years of burnout, rejection, and questioning whether or not I was “enough”. The turning point came when I realized that real success – the kind that feels grounded and sustainable – has to start from within. That realization changed my life and eventually became the heart of my work.

I’m most proud that this business was born from something deeply personal. Every client that I work with reminds me why I started this: to help people remember that they already have everything they need within them; and that when you reconnect to that truth, it naturally shifts your energy, your choices, and your results.

What I want the world to know about me and my brand is that I don’t teach theory – I teach what I’ve actually lived. And if my story proves anything, it’s that when you do the inner work, you become truly unshakeable – not just as an actor, but as a human being.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’l be perfectly honest: I usually plan trips that take me out of LA – so this was a bit of a challenge!

That said, if my best friend came to visit me here, then I’d try to give them a little taste of my favorite parts of the city.

We’d start the trip with a dedicated Malibu day: we’d have brunch at the Paradise Cove Beach Café, then it’s off to the Getty Villa for a few hours to take in the beautiful art and architecture. To wind down the day, we would make our way to Zuma for a beautiful sunset and calm beach vibes.

The next day of the trip would be dedicated to a little bit of the Valley + Beverly Hills: we would start with an early morning hike at Tree People Park in Coldwater Canyon, grab breakfast at Marmalade Café in Sherman Oaks, and then head down to Beverly Hills after showering and changing.

We’d stop by the Greystone Mansion to take in some serenity and beautiful views before grabbing lunch at Novikov. Afterward, we’d walk off our lunch by shopping on Rodeo Drive. As the day wound down, I’d take my friend to a spot like Dante’s at the Maybourne for sunset cocktails, and then we’d head home after a long and fun day. If my friend had the energy, then we would definitely rally for a night of dancing at La Descarga and/or No Vacancy!

My friend would probably want to see the west side as well, so we’d definitely have a day of exploring Santa Monica, Venice, Abbot Kinney, and even a little Marina del Rey. That one would be left up in the air so that we could just have a day of flowing with the plans.

To balance all the go-go-go, I’d also plan a slower day of taking in nature at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada Flintridge and The Huntington Library in Pasadena. Both of these are stunning botanical gardens, with the former being an especially quiet and peaceful escape from LA’s hustle and bustle. We would also be sure to book an afternoon tea at the Huntington Library as their sandwich (and tea) selection is yummy!

Lastly, if my friend was up for it, we’d actually end the week away from LA with a quick trip to Idyllwild. Idyllwild is this beautiful and quiet little mountain town that I consider my haven away from the city. It always helps me to reset and remember why I love California in the first place. There’s also a particular look-out point up there for a sunset that will take your breath away!

Overall, LA is way too big to truly show someone in just a week, but these are some of the places and activities that make me happy to live here.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
One of the books that started me on this journey of deeply understanding and loving myself – and thus, having the courage to follow my passions – would have to be The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz.

This is a book that I believe everyone can benefit from reading, even if to simply challenge how they see the world and navigate it. The four agreements are as follows:

1. Be impeccable with your word
2. Don’t take anything personally
3. Don’t make assumptions
4. Always do your best

While these agreements sound simple on paper, they are actually challenging to truly put into practice every day. However, if you commit to the work, it can radically change your worldview and empower you to see how life is working FOR you, not against you. And, once you are no longer in a victim or “woe is me” mindset, you become exponentially more powerful.
