We had the good fortune of connecting with Cheryl Murphy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Cheryl, how do you think about risk?
I feel the reason I have been successful.. is I made alot of mistakes along the way Taking those risks I would not know what I know now about the industry, about how the business works and operates.

Taking risks to open in each location has made me grow as a business women and knowlegable about the Entertainment Industry

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I grew up on the Entertainment business as a professional dancer which led me to haveing quite an amazing career before becoming an Agent.

As a 14 year old booking my first professional job with the Osmond’s at their studio in Utah was an amazing experience.
and being on TV at such a young age brought many other opportunities … one that I will never regret… was coming to Las Vegas the meca of Entertainment to be a showgirl in some of the largest Production shows on the Las Vegas Strip!

As a stage performer had some golden opportunities to dance and perform with were some very famous people!
Such as Debbie Reynolds, Sammy Davis Jr.. Lola Falana, Don Rickles, and David Copperfield!
One dance job let me to perform with Melinda the First Lady of Magic, which lets to me actually becoming a Headliner Magician myself… SHOWGIRLS OF MAGIC ! Everyone laughed … showgirls doing magic.. and well that show lasted for over 12 years on the Las Vegas Strip, plus many other performances around the world and TV appearnaces with the 3 of us Showgirls of Magic.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
The first place is VEGAS BABY ! a Raider game and a Concert !
Copperfield show at the MGM, get a good laugh at Carrottop Show at the Luxor.

Craft Streak at MGM , and Korean BBQ at Goong!

Then hop on the road to LA.. for a bite to eat at the Best Italian Spot in the city UOVO the best location is in the Marina with a view of the docks !

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes I have some great supporters and mentors. Daniel Mahan and I have not only been friends for over 30 years, but we opened and shared the Los Angeles Office! We learned the LA market as we went but supported each other and learned from all our mistakes to get better and better to where we are now. My other partner from Seoul Korea Shownal Han has been one of the most successful instruments to my career and agency
We joined forces in 2001 and going strong ever since. Had it not been for Shownal bringing some big clients from Asia to me and then my agency bringing in the celebrity factor the many celebrity endorsements we have booked over the years!

Through strong relationships with Celebrity Representatives helping to book Big Names such as: Megan Fox, John Travolta, Al Pacino, Sienna Miller, Liam Neeson, plus Sports Legend Evander Holyfield, Rap Artist and Hip Hop Legend Snoop Dogg, Lil John and many more the list goes on…….
