Meet China Naylor

We had the good fortune of connecting with China Naylor and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi China, what are you inspired by?
I find inspiration in the strong women around me, including my sister, sister friends, and mentors. Despite facing adversity and challenges, they persevere in pursuing their goals with unwavering determination. Their resilience and faith serve as guiding lights, propelling them forward to achieve success and serve as role models for others.
Witnessing these women navigate through obstacles with grace and determination motivates me to strive for my own aspirations. Their ability to stay focused on their purpose, even in the face of difficulties, is a testament to their strength and character. Their unwavering commitment to their dreams encourages me to push past my own limitations and work towards my goals with dedication and resilience.
The courage and perseverance displayed by the women in my life inspire me to embrace challenges with a positive attitude and unwavering determination. Their ability to overcome obstacles and achieve their ambitions motivates me to stay focused on my own path and never give up on my dreams. Their example serves as a constant reminder that with hard work and resilience, anything is possible.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Since joining PCR Business Finance SBDC in March 2017 as an Administrative Assistant for the Small Business Development Center department, my professional and personal growth has been remarkable. The organization, led by Mark J. Robertson Sr., President and CEO, and Colette B. Moore, Director, has been instrumental in shaping my career. Completing my MBA at Pepperdine in 2019 led to a new role tailored for me, where I have played a key role in exceeding our goals and expanding services to aid small businesses through workshops and personalized advising.
Collaborating with the dedicated team at PCR Business Finance SBDC, we have successfully supported numerous small businesses in their startup endeavors and securing essential capital. Our combined efforts have not only met but surpassed our targets, making a positive impact on the small business community. Through workshops and one-on-one advising, we have empowered entrepreneurs, fostering growth and sustainability in the small business sector. The support and mentorship from the organization and its leadership have been pivotal in my professional journey and our joint success in serving the business community.
I attribute a significant part of my success to prayer and my relationship with Jesus Christ. Engaging in prayer has provided me with the confidence and love to serve people’s needs effectively in both my professional and personal life. Knowing God’s word and will has guided me in operating with assurance and compassion, allowing me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
