Meet Christian Robbins | Pastor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Christian Robbins and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Christian, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
I am a father to three wonderful children. Raychel, Christian and Charlotte and as a parent, I believe the most important thing I’ve done for my children is guiding them towards a relationship with Jesus Christ. By teaching them about His love, grace, and sacrifice, I’ve provided them with a strong foundation of faith and values. This connection with Jesus is the greatest gift I can give, as it offers them hope, guidance, and a source of unwavering love throughout their lives.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Before stepping into my current ministry, I was building RAVE CUSTOMS, a custom home automation company. I’m still the owner, but on a smaller scale now, as my mind and heart have shifted from what I once wanted to what I want now. The goal for RAVE CUSTOMS was to bring professionalism back to life, to give every project 100 percent, and to create long-lasting relationships. Although I didn’t have a relationship with God then, as I do now, God was already preparing me for where I am today.

As a Pastor to the community and an Assistant Pastor at Royal City Church, I aim to speak life into others with truth and love. What sets me apart is the genuine passion I have for helping others grow in their faith and the deep sense of purpose that guides my actions. I am most proud of seeing lives transformed and people coming to know Christ more intimately.

Getting to where I am today professionally was not easy. There were many challenges along the way, both in my business and in my personal spiritual journey. Overcoming these challenges involved a lot of perseverance, prayer, and trust in God’s plan. One key lesson I’ve learned is that God’s timing is perfect, and He equips us with everything we need for the path He has set before us.

I want the world to know that my story is one of transformation and purpose. My brand, both in business and ministry, is centered around integrity, dedication, and fostering genuine relationships. Through RAVE CUSTOMS, I strived to bring professionalism and excellence to every project. Now, in ministry, I strive to bring the same level of commitment to serving and loving others. My journey is a testament to God’s faithfulness and His ability to prepare us for His greater plans, even when we don’t realize it at the time.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend visits, he better get ready for an unforgettable week! Starting with a hearty breakfast at Bobby’s Coffee Shop, a local gem known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious pancakes, if it’s Sunday, we’ll head over to Royal City Church in Inglewood for community and a good word. Afterward, indulge in Randy’s Donuts’ iconic treats before heading over to serve at Skid Row. Malibu Beach mornings and evenings are for sunrises, sunsets, and sand. Grab lunch at Malibu’s Fish Market for fresh seafood with an ocean view. Spend afternoons exploring the LACMA, or Getty Center, for art lovers, followed by a leisurely stroll through Hollywood to spot the stars. For dinner, savor the fiery delights at Howlin’ Rays, known for its mouthwatering Nashville hot chicken (BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER). Wrap up the week with a visit to Universal Studios for thrilling rides and The Observatory for stunning views of LA. And last but not least, enjoy BBQs with friends and family for cozy evenings reminiscing about our years of adventures!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely! First and foremost, all glory and thanks go to God, who guides and sustains me every day. I am deeply grateful for my incredible and beautiful wife, Regina, whose love and support mean the world to me. My children also inspire and motivate me to be the best I can be. A heartfelt thanks to my Pastor and friend Andrew F. Carter, whose wisdom and guidance have been instrumental in my journey. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their love and support.
